Thoughts on G19? (Contains Spoilers, but you should know this already)

  Um, Soul Absorption is the instant-death one where your soul comes out of you and tries to go to Girgashiy, you can't pot through it.
  
  If you're getting poisoned, that's Holy Contagion.
  
  
  Also, didn't the knights capture Marcan or something? He escaped and they didn't say anything about it.

  I really love this new generation. They added nice characters I can actually get attached to and it is doing a good job at getting me excited for this new chapter.
  The only problem is the bosses near the end of the quest line. Is anyone else having problems with Girgashiy after you get [SIZE="1"]*crappy novice rank*[/SIZE] Shield of Trust?
  If not, any tips you can give me?

  I know that, I got a ton of HP potions from the fishing event. I was talking about avoiding soul attraction, which insta-kills me and the crystal prison attack which heavily wounds me.

  Don't you have to attack him till his purple bar is zero? I didn't die once I began attacking him hardcore.

  Yep, it is worthy to note you want to be near Aveline and Altam in order for them to disrupt it unless you hit hard and fast. Or just fast.

  Possibly, Morrighan/Cichol/Neimhain/Nuadha both have disappeared from existence after the events of G16 so maybe all the fomors decided to follow a new god as a whole.

  Funny how the Tuatha de Danann are still following them and Aton Cimeni even after they're long gone.

  I don't know if it was brought up in this thread but how many people overestimated that final duel Gargash fight. With my 300str and judgment blade it was kinda a pushover. Despite lag killing me twice i only used 2 of the 15 guardian stones i prepared for the whole generation. I was kinda dissapointed in that fight.

  Ended up just summoning an EW'd golem and having it use taunt for 5 minutes.

  
  
  All I did was find 1 soldier attacking a bear and had a pet lock down the bear while i constantly healed that 1 soldier with party healing master title on just in case.

  I just finished the first half of Answers from Above, and now I'm stuck on the two Girgashiys. :shoe: :shoe:
  I do think it's very hard, just because charging Judgement Blade takes so long, but I do agree that even I could beat them easily if those two Apostles would just take a break from using alternating mineral showers on me. :pain:

  Problem is when I did it in KR and used judgement blade it didn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure if it's because I missed (it looked like a direct hit) or that KR changed it after the initial release to have judgement blade do massive damage in the final or NA nerfed it right out of the gate by having judgement blade to massive damage.
  
  I'm going to test it on KR later today and see what judgement blade does to see if it's a NA specific thing. If it is NA specific I'm going to be pissed.

  I loved it, although I thought the difficulty wasn't consistent throughout the gen. Those wolves at the beginning actually took me by surprise, I went in without armor on and they started hitting 230s on me, but most of the other monsters hit 1s on me. The Taillteann fight in particular was actually much harder than the final was. For the final I used a pet to run away(pets shouldn't be allowed in boss fights at all imho, and that applies to everything: dungeons, sms, mainstream stories.) then charged judgment blade and smacked em with it, rinse and repeat.
  
  The new director shows promise, but they need to learn what consistency of difficulty is.
  
  As for the raids, I like the teamwork aspects of it, but I'd prefer a dungeon revamp over having more of them.

  You can attack your soul to stun it and keep it from getting to the girgash, then use a pet or let the npcs attack him til the purple bar is 0.
