  Because both characters were designed by the same person. The same goes for Merlin and Avelin, most notably on THIS picture. There is no in-universe connection whatsoever.

  I don't see a resemblence between Merlin and Avelin, though I see kind of a resemblence between Avelin and the pose Macha is in in G2 and the pose Cessair's Heart is in in the login screen.

  Well, I do. The way that artist draws faces is quite characteristic (or, to put it in less flattering way, it lacks variety) and they seem to be very fond of braids and intricate ornaments. I'll try to find more of their works and investigate further.

  It's entirely possible the Lugh from G16 is not Lugh, that it is a man that was brain fudged into thinking he is Lugh by Bella. Also possible he is the real Lugh.
  
  It's entirely possible Morgant really isn't Lugh, what does he have to lose by people thinking he is Lugh?
  
  There's a huge debate about the pragarah itself on the wiki and on the korean servers, it's a very gray area.

  I don't see what's wrong with NPCs being Milletians. But yes, Shakespeare is outright terrible.

  There has been NPCs who've been Milletians long before G16.
  
  And there aren't that many contradictions. Plot holes maybe, but the only contradiction I can really thinking of right now is the Pragarah, if you can even call that a contradiction.

  We don't have a reliable source for her "death", so as much as I want to say that we should take things at face value, g16 was a fucking train wreck, and Cichol's word and a sealed grave are hardly evidence. Cichol has quite the track record for lying (especially when it benefits him) and for all we know it could just be an empty box. I think the question would be better worded as "What in the world happened to Triona?". That covers both of the above options.
  
  It's always possible that she left her father (unlikely as that sounds, considering how dependent she was on him) for some reason or other...
  An unconfirmed theory is that Lugh/ Morgant was mentally unstable for some reason or another, Triona left, and he refused to believe that she was gone, when Bella arrived. Of course, we can't confirm or deny, but it's a cute little headcanon.
  
  

  Morgant said he took a part in Elatha's creation. Some people take this to mean he is his father, it doesn't have to be. It could very well be a god father, or he could have performed the surgery, he could have cut the chord, he could have taken care of Neamhain. It's foolish to say "Yes, he is for sure the father" or "Yes, it means he cut the chord" if you don't know for sure. So sorry, can't really help on that hole. =\

  Paragarah... is a very difficult subject... I really hope that they stuffed that sword in the vault so that we can just forget about it until somebody who knows what they're talking about can come along and give some explanations.

  On the subject of Cichol, how the hell did he come back from the dead? Do they even explain how Nuadha came back? And what about Macha? Millia didn't get sacrificed.

  If you meant the initial revival, I think it was explained in the underwaterway sidestory (or maybe G12?) that when the Corrupt Alchemists revived Claimh Solas (and supposedly did a better job than Cichol, Fallon, and crew), his cry reawakened Nuadha.

  One of the reasons I like G16 so much is that it explains some thing, but also creates more plot holes. What a dull story it would be if there was no plot holes, what's the fun in trying to figure things out then? I mean, Zelda has become very popular off season mainly due to speculation and trying to clue together subtle evidence from different games in a specific order. It's the questions and unclarity that makes this game's story fun.

  They did a piss-poor job since they tried it in Underground Waterway sidestory and it immediately attacked them, same with G12. Unless that's not what you meant.
  
  But it gets resurrected thrice. Just why on the THIRD one does it call for its master? Also, couldn't it potentially have done that in G9, then wreak havoc on the Fomors and shit?

  IIRC Heart was unconscious in Saga 1, but then again that cutscene was poorly animated (i.e. invisible Lia Fail). She appears in the credits of Saga 1 and comes back in Saga 2 Episode 5, but they don't explain shit in the gap.
  
  [SPOILER="About Heart..."]Heart is actually a part of Dian Cecht, who's the mastermind behind Saga 2 and the leader of the Cessair. She split herself into two beings to cut off her emotions to make more cold-hearted logical decisions in their goal of eradicating the Gods; her emotions was just stuffed on one of the many Cessair, who would become Cecht.
  
  They say NOTHING about Macha whatsoever in Saga 2. Instead they're all pissed at Neamhain because she banished the Cessair for an unexplained reason.[/SPOILER]
