I assume it doesn't work because crossbows don't have an eligible enchant type. I don't have a list on-hand, so correct me if I'm wrong.

What I do know is this...
It seems they modified R upgrades for Arbalest and Crossbow looking at the data files. So possibly more piercing there?
We'll continue poking away at the data but I would encourage people not to make so many god damn assumptions about things being meh before all the data is on hand.
I hate how people jump the gun way too early on this shit instead of actually stopping to take the time and gather all the data before jumping right in on assumptions.
There's 4 fucking weeks before this update is even fully fleshed out and finished!

I love how they even touched the Giants throwing attack skill. Wasn't expecting any boost to giants this update but looks like Giants like my friend Kenny will be very pleased with this update. Having the team try and look at the specifics on the actual values of the increases/decreases and other skill related skill changes. We'll probably release it all at once once it hits the live update as usual.
I'm expecting that next week we'll see the new skills/weapons/enchants and then the week or two after they'll wrap it up and ship it to live. They seem to be following a specific pattern for these updates. All is within my expected paramaters and expectations for the most part.
It would be hilarious if giants ended up getting the most benefit out of the range update LOL. Everyone thought ninja was going to be especially awesome for elves but turns out... yeah LOL

I wouldn't expect a lot of complaints on nation. You'll see some criticisms, sure, but they'll be nothing compared to the reaction on the Nexon forums. That is going to be a huge clusterfuck, regardless of how the update turns out.
Anyway, huge fan of the changes made to Support Shot. Hopefully they grant the supported melee player temporary wings and a hebona robe so they'll be encouraged to not fuck it up like they always do.

I too am expecting a lot of QQ. As usual I'll probably try and counter a good chunk of the QQ like I did for the magic update. Anyways the new skill Urgent Shot does not appear to be on test server currently as far as our tests on the test server and data files go. It's probably just a quick preview of what will come next week for new skills.
I hope that more than Urgent Shot comes in for new skills, but I'd be fine with just Urgent Shot as it seems very useful if you are trying to fire quickly and don't got time to wait for you to hit 100%.

debatable based on what I saw last update but it was like a core group of 3 people that I found myself yelling at there. Dealing with 3 annoying people is better than dealing with like hundreds of them on Nexon Forums. Screw that noise.

Well finally, the new director does something helpful. Support Shot lasted too short, Xbows and Atlatls were just outright useless, Mirage Missile's movement speed cut was barely noticeable, and Final Shot was barely useable. Most these changes are pretty acceptable.
Though, Throwing Attack did not need a buff to damage, and if Final Shot still has its load time and still lowers non-existent archery load times and mobs aggro when aimed at, that would be stupid.

Mirage Missle's speed decrease is one of them.
seems that throwing attack's cooldown is reduced to 4 seconds at r1. rN is still 7 seconds.

Probably because elves get every other benefit from the update. I don't know why you'd want to use support shot 0.5 seconds after using support shot though.
