What... Why is Human's Support Shot faster than Elves' Support Shot...?

Probably because elves get every other benefit from the update. I don't know why you'd want to use support shot 0.5 seconds after using support shot though.
Simple, to use it on another mob and quickly hit mobs for your melee party mates to smash away.
Also I like your explanation of this a lot better than devcat being devcat. Humans get this one small advantage while elves get a lot more.
Humans need some archery love too you know!

New Skill : Urgent Shot
You can use this when you miss a shot when using bow or crossbow.
This skill does not require aiming, it will push an enemy away from you.
Also, it has an effect that increases aiming speed of next attack,
therefore it is expected to help players in situations that can endanger them in case of a missed shot.
I always felt archery needed something like this.

This is, by far, the best response I've seen in months.

Human support shot was always better than elf one.
1.5 second cd instead of 2 (currently) and 300% aim speed instead of 200%.

I certainly hope that DevCat doesn't stop at just one new archery skill. The biggest issue with archery is its poor skill selection. I mean, they seriously just added two skills to magic.
Blaze
Bolt Mastery
Fireball
Firebolt
Fire Mastery
Fusion Bolt
Hail Storm
Icebolt
Ice Mastery
Ice Spear
Lightning Bolt
Lightning Mastery
Lightning Rod
Magic Mastery
Magic Weapon Mastery
Mana Recovery
Meditation
Meteor Strike
Snap Cast
Spellwalk
Thunder

Arrow Revolver
Bow Mastery
Crash Shot
Crossbow Mastery
Human Ranged Attack
Magnum Shot
Spider Shot
Support Shot
Urgent Shot

Bow Mastery
Crash Shot
Crossbow Mastery
Magnum Shot
Spider Shot
Support Shot
Elf Ranged Attack
Mirage Missile
Final Shot
Urgent Shot
It would be super awesome if they patched up elf ranged attack to fix "elf lag" and perhaps gave humans some reason to use ranged attack. They also refrained from making something broken as hell, so that's probably in the works.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for posting some of this skill changes. Awesome work getting tables drawn out this early.

That was always Kapra's specialty. He just recently decided to get back into the wiki. He's the only one on the team who has the wiki experience. You may be interested in this tid bit but there's a lot of new entries for crossbows/atlatls/javelins especially ego ones it seems ;)
We'll try and dig up specifics on that later. But just something to keep in mind to wet your appetite.
There is one caveot to this. A lot of the entries are actually new entries to the same weapons rather than modifying the existing entries. So it's possible that you may have to ego transfer to a new xbow to see the ego changes. Something to keep in mind.

Also thanks to Yai. Through collaboration we managed to speed up the process tremendously and hopefully this will be the same for future skill updates to come. Be sure to give her a +1 rep when you can.
Rixx, can you add
http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/view/User:Kapra/Future_Content#Renovation_Archery.2C_Update_1 to the table of contents in the OP?

There's a lot of controversy in KR regarding aiming system.
Basically it's
Remove Aiming Please vs Aiming Should Stay.
I'll try to summarise both sides' points and give my opinion.
Remove Aiming Please
- Aiming system is obsolete, Dual Guns and Ninja skills can hit without aiming.
- Mages have greater control over their Mana pool, their penalty regarding Mana scarcity is almost non-existent.
- Monsters move. Shooting at 100% is near impossible unless you're soloing at a very slow speed.
Aiming Should Stay
- Removing aiming system is stupid. Archery is already OP.
- Imagine shooting at distance 2700 with almost no delay, at 100%.
Here's my opinion, more like a suggestion for devCAT.
- Remove Aiming System if you are within 1/4 range of your bow/crossbow's maximum range. e.g. 2000 range bow, you can hit at 100% within 500 range, with no aiming.
- Add 0.5~1 second waiting time when you target an enemy. This can solve "omg no delay 100% shots too op".
The reason for posting this is because I want to hear what you guys think on this topic.
Do you think Aiming System needs a rework? Or should it stay the way it is on KR Test?

I like your suggestion Rixx for archery. That would 'modernize' the archery aiming system. And personally if i had to choose a side i'd want the aiming to stay if archery doesn't have a penalty it'd be broken all to hell shooting from so far away thats not even funny.

I like those ideas o.o!
giving it 100% shots at 1,400 units of distance and any further will give an aim percent?
I would like further upgrade paths for extra range without reforges but one can dream :3

This looks like a promising update so far. I basically main archery in NA so this excites me a lot!
Those ideas for changing aiming posted in this thread are fantastic, why devCAT didn't do something like that I don't know. Hopefully they still have some ideas for aiming since they aren't done yet.
Final Shot actually sounds rather nice, that skill was one of those 'rank it for stats and never use it' things for the longest time since being knocked down basically ended it and teleports costed a LOT of the time.
Looking forward to what else they add with this patch!
