I don't see why you're against that. It's not helping Fighter much, but if it didn't use up a loaded skill it would significantly help mage, alchemists, and archers (though the latter has Urgent Shot).
It not helping fighter much is arguable, I consider it one of the more important skills in the Fighter tab, particularly with reverse tumbling. I don't want Tumble to be usable with Alchemy, Lances, or Puppetry. Melee and archery I can understand, maybe dual guns and magic too. But I would rather the current director not touch Tumble at all rather than open it up to everything. Tumble is already in a great place, it doesn't really need fixing. It would just be nice if some other things that could benefit from it (but not overly benefit) could get access to it too, not everything.
You're absolutely insane if you think Breaking Lies' training requirements are fine.
That's why I said the requirements could have used better foresight. But the idea that it takes years to get enough levels to max them is great in my book. That's what kept Mabi alive in other parts of the game.
I don't really see uncapping mana shield as a bad thing.
If we were still on the old formula yes.
As of today all it would bring me to uncap mana shield is a few more points on my mana bar, and a few more INT, which is the only reason I would rank it.
It's become pretty useless as an actual skill to use.
What Mana Shield needs is another formula update, not an uncap. You can't just uncap a skill without addressing the issues in its lower ranks.
