Just thought this might be relevant.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Mabinogi/wiki/repairs-n-fails
According to this and their sources, 97% is the exact same chance as 98% while being cheaper. It would be nice if there was a way to confirm this via data or packets or whatever, but at least it's something to consider while everyone is on the topic of repair fees.

I'll bring this chart up I made a while ago too, to show the chance to have at least one fail based on how many points you have left to repair.
[Image: http://s16.postimg.org/6m440cvxx/success_chart.png]
Will look into the repair packets and see if there's any info I can see.
EDIT: I see nothing resembling percentages showing up anywhere in the packets when repairing. I will note that when you fail, the server specifically tells you the new durability of the item (not just "minus 1"), so either this packet is re-used for enchanting or repairs were designed to potentially chip off multiple points on a fail.

Pffft...
I find it more annoying to repair the wands back in G1 to G3 era because you have to use wands to use intermediate magic, and wands were really expensive to repair, because there's not much you can do to get lot of gold now. I'm quite glad they will be making Tri-Celtic bolt want cheap to repair with high dura, so you're pretty much good to go on it for a long time.

Does it use the same packet when you fail a perfect repair? That can fail multiple times in one go.

????
i've paid more than this on literally every weapon i''ve owned.
and this is a world where people will pay 300k for a dye amp
i don't think it's a big deal

And it's the times when you need to fail a perfect that Ferghus fixes it all...
I'm just going to assume yes.

Your attack style plays a part when dual-wielding as well, also note that Bash does ~2x durability loss compared to Smash and normal attacks (and a normal attack finisher only uses one weapon, not two).
The thing that I don't understand right now is, is there any reason to Dual Wield while bashing? Before we got it I thought that let you do the double Bash, but now I see you just hit with the right hand twice. Is there any reason not to Sword/Board bash instead?

Sword Mastery bonuses applied twice for holding two swords (the bonuses go to you, not the weapon) and Dual Wielding Mastery now.

That's +50 max damage, +30 min damage, 45% balance, 14% critical, 5% auto defense, and 9 armor pierce.

Ah, right, forgot about stacking masteries. Thanks, it just seemed kinda stupid that a skill primarily for dual-wield only ever actually attacked with one weapon.

K, failing one point during a perfect repair also uses the same packet (5BD6) and layout to send the new max durability.
Couldn't get more than one fail yet.

Do multiple FH cooldown reforges stack? Either hat+sword or sword+sword? Because if they do... with 34 points of it you could have infinite dura-lossless super damage FH power...
