  What they did to the males was straight tragic. I agree the models needed to be changed but they went and made them -too- thin. They should put some meat on their bones and restore some of the awe factor...right now they're less scary than melee elves.
  
  The female model hardly changed. If they make the standing poses all super feminine then I'll have a problem with it...but I don't recall them changing those. New hair/face options are a plus though watching people dress giants up as humans might make me a little sick.
  
  Why can't people appreciate giants as the non-cute race? So help me if I prefer to look like a warrior rather than a doll.

  giants don't look any less stronger from the renewal,
  they actually look like they can be faster than humans this time
  and they still have muscles
  and the design contest templates make them look better than I originally thought actually xD
  
  but the main thing is clothes actually look decent on them <.< (not giant stumps for feet) (and the goggle cap really does look awkward on a male giant too)
  
  edit: that reminds me, the male giant's waist is abit overly anorexic looking, otherwise I had no actual problems with it

  Alright how about this, Giant MAINS ONLY, who is looking forward to the renewal? I understand those who do not like it, but the reason why I like the renewal is because the legs get longer which is logically correct. Wearing a Chic Suit with Cores' Oriental Long Boots look a lot better in the renewal than the non-renewal because the non-renewal makes the boots look very short as if they are regular shoes. That's the main problem with the non-renewal giants, the short stubby legs. Look at this proportion:

  In this manner giants would be considered midgets because their lower body is shorter/same length as the upper body. That's not how humanoid bodies are. Take your pair of pants and align the bottom of the pants to your waist and you can see that the waistline of the pants are much higher up from your head. I understand the "loss of muscle is less-giantlike" but I'd rather move some of that muscle to leg length than to have midget legs (I don't mean to offend any midgets whatsoever)
  
  Besides, some troll giant-haters call the muscle "fat". So at least trolls will shut up about fatness with the renewal. Unless there are more easy to get "non NX only items" released that show the body like Basil Gimlet and Trimmed Coat.

  Well, I'm looking forward for it more for the skills than the new models, but at least now after getting the new models, I won't hate myself when I RB into a male for a week just for that achievement. But from a Giantess viewpoint, there really isn't much difference in the model of a Giantess now and after the renewal, mostly just a new stance and a more animeish face, but I don't mind that. Now I can kill mobs with both my cuteness and my Smashes. Only problem is if I want to go for a cuter look or for a more sexy look.
