  Nah, it isn't as bad as NA Vindictus. Random people have a high tendency in killing people with that Ceiling Spike Trap in Hollowfrost dungeon or whatever.

  Remember when we formed parties of over 9000 people to spam Ciar normal, not caring about the exp gain, just because dungeons were fun to do?
  
  Nowadays the community has turned into something that reminded me of Gaia. Spend IRL and in game money on accessories in game to make you look "prettier" and then flaunt your "uniqueness" and "individuality" as if its online manifestation actually mattered.
  
  And newbies wonder why I am so willing to help them out. I miss the days when I first started.
  
  I think as a community, we should make an effort to revive the mindset that was prominent in the old days.
  
  I mean, forrealz, all I see are people in Dunby with their ubar cute outfits doing dumb things like spamming emotes or running around, or having some crazy insmean if you're on Mari).
  
  And on top of that, everyone complains about how they are bored in game. Of course you'd be bored. Noone wants to do anything anymore. Nobody dungeons nowadays, except to spam for scrolls or pages, and almost all shadow missions are solo or guild coordinated.
  
  There are no more "open" parties.
  
  tldr: Do dungeons / shadow missions with more random people, dammit.

But i saw alot of what you say people do here, and i HATE it :mad2: don't you hate it when you see idiots sitting around doing nothing but flashing off their cute or million gold clothes. Don't you hate it when you see girls running around making all these lol emotes for no reason even thought its not funny?:mad:(i want to punch them for that and tell them to shut up with those ":D" "XD" or "lol" comments....they spam them even when its not funny)

  Don't you hate it when you ask others to come with you to run math and they say "what for?" or ask you "whats in it for them" or ask you what level dung it is and if its not "adv" or higher they say; "too easy or boring". I get annoyed as hell when im stuck on something like G3 or G9 and i just wanna go run a dungeon, to fill up my wasted time because im getting bored, but other people dont want to because its too "boring" for them; as if just running around in a dungeon killing formors with someone else isnt "fun". Don't you hate it when people flash off their expensive ass bull**** clothes that cost millions and laugh at you for wearing ****ty armor?

  Don't you hate it when people laugh at you for being weaker? and don't you hate it when they call you a noob with their over 1K levels? Don't you hate it when they give you hard time when you ask for help in something and tell you, "were busy" when theyre clearly not, or tell you the're too bored to do anything? (more like too lazy) What happened to helping just for a good cause? When i was doing my G2 Ideals i had people asking me for 10K just to be my ideal. CAN you Believe it?!!!! i had to spend 50K just to get ideals dont since people charged you for it!!! How cheap can you be? why can't you help someone just because you genuinly want to rather than charge them for it? Why are
  people going into EvG just so they can camp others and make fun of them while them and their friends use cheap skills like icebolt and range rank 1 (which people over-glorify since i think its the most bull**** skill you can ever get since you dont need to work for a kill, just sit there and the formors will die just like that) camp you and laugh at you about it. Where did "fighting for fun" go? now-a-days people dont fight for fun or to test their skills but to see how ****ty you are or how pro they are (ive met many assholes like that who challenge me just to make themselves look pro by kicking my ass and bousting about it later to their friends right infront of me) What's wrong with all the people in mabinogi who are just garbage trolls acting all cool and not really playing for the game for the spirit of it? Thats not why i joined this game, i joined it because i wanted to have fun; to fool around and do cool stuff; to kill bosses with others and laugh about it; to sit around and chill rather than argue about how "good my equipment is compared to yours".
  
  So in that sense i totally and completely agree with you Arty, i feel that something should be done to get people to act more like "people" agian and stop being the stupid, selfish, inconsiderate, little pricks they are. The community is unfortunately suffering from mediocracy of the idiots who are running around in the game these days. I think that a group or guild should be formed thats based on the unionized beliefs that i see alot of you here share which i respect and like :tea:I think that we need to raise awareness about this issue somehow, especially in a server like mine, Alexina, where these people run amock and theres no end to them. I dont understand, but in the period of the 7 months i've been on mabinogi, i noticed that the amount of people who act like this has increased..... and i mean increased out of proportion o.O This is only bad for the game's community and will only make the game lose it's respect amongst the general population as well as its reputation for being an interactive and involved game where you dont just play the game but also really get into the spirit of the game.

  Not to be picky about Shadow Missions, but I hate them.
  They make me QQ over G9-G11, and G11 I still haven't finished, for that exact reason.
  Shadow Missions are just really grindy, and I'd rather do a dungeon 2x longer than a Shadow Mission for less EXP.
  Maybe it's the atmosphere of the Shadow Mission, as well?
  
  At times I wished that by Fantasy Life,
  it would be more like the Mabinogi promo video
  (the one with Hanstone - Hold My Hand).
  And of course, that's the content that Mabinogi has, but it's portrayed in a different way.
  I even changed my mp3 music in a desperate attempt to make everything more "Fantasy Life."
  (aka Tir Chonaill sounds nostalgic, Tara sounds grand and far away..)
  
  Mabinogi isn't all boring though;
  at times there are things to do aside from spamming and grinding and sitting doing nothing.
  There's always fun things. Once, my friend and I had a race in Solea Caves (on different channels) to see who would make it to the Star Mark first.
  When we got there, we PVP'd a little and then went to Vales.
  (I was an elf, so it was fun running away from giant guards... and attacking them.)
  Just doing a lot of spontaneous things in the game is enough for me.
  But Mabinogi is losing its depth :(

  I hate the fact that a piece of garbage like Runescape has a PVP system that totally puts this game's PVP aspects to shame. I haven't played that game in years but I still remember how awesome it was to run a game of Castle Wars.

  I know what you mean :-/ its ridiculous the way people act. I've had what happened to you happen to me alot not just when im asking about clothes or what-not, but when im trying to get advice from the "stronger" players. You get treated with disrespect alot these days from what im seeing. The guys who are stronger than you laugh at you and act like they know everything and make themselves seem like bigshots infront of everyone else including their friends. Whenever i go into Tir, i always meet alot of the newbie or beginner players and they ask alot of questions. But i dont mind and i even end up spending hours with them helping them even though i came to Tir to do something important[COLOR=red] (quest or generation scenario) but i dont mind since i enjoy it and really like knowing the fact that im actually helped someone who was stuck and needed support. While everytime i RIDE in, and i mean everytime; i see the rich fools and "Pro players" sitting in the square, even in tir. I see that happen alot. I'd run in and some new player would ask me to run a dung or some quests with them and we'd go then when we come back even like an hour later, we see the same people STILL and literally still sitting in the same place, not even moving an inch from where they were sitting, being stupid. I mean, if you have so much damn free time and you're so godly and pro with your 1560 total, why dont you go and help out a new player? show them the ropes. I personally am not a professional player (my total of 310 atm) neither have i mastered the tactics and art of battling in mabinogi, and neither did i learn every different combo you can do (e.g. ice + n + n + n + repeat >> or any of those more complex ones) but i still work hard at getting stronger and improving myself and i still help others no matter who asks me and what they ask me. Some people around you laugh and think you're stupid when you ask a question that they already know the answer to (its like they expect you to know everything >>> like when i was asking someone about the details of properly using a lightning wand >>i have one<< and how i should upgrade, and whether its better to chaincast upgrade it or do other upgrades since they'd be more useful)[/COLOR]. And the problems with those couples sitting around all day being so damn irritating. I mean cmon get a room!!! go do that somewhere else than in public. I once walked in on two couples in manus's [COLOR=red](healer) shop. I was going in to buy some feathers when i walk in on these two sitting there literally naked and frigging typing in all kinds of you-know-what emotes.[/COLOR]
  
  I agree with you completely about dunby/dunny since its overrun by a crowd of trolls these days, especially alexina; im not sure about the other servers. Whenever i log in and go somewhere i try to avoid dunby as much as i can. but the problem is that you sometimes need to go there since it has the cheapest but best stuff to get; like a cheap but good quality weapons repair that actually doesnt fail but doesnt break the bank. But unfortunately at the same time you meet the crazy crowd of campers, show-off rich dudes, idiots, and general mindless trolls. Anyhow the game community seriously needs a changeover.

  Usually, when people are just sitting there in some place doing supposed "stupid" stuff, it would usually mean they don't want to do combat or anything. Just because someone is high level, it doesn't mean they have a duty to stop whatever relaxing thing they doing to run some boring dungeon with someone who didn't even bother asking.
  
  For me, I usually help people when I feel like it. I don't see any point in doing anything in-game that I don't feel like doing. It is just a game.
  
  I feel the fantasy "life" every time when I attempt to do some of those grindy life/alchemy skills. :T_T:

  Anyways, I'm finding it rather sad that some people are saying rich people are "fools". Why should someone answer you just because you ask the public a question? I'm personally in Dunbarton a lot and if someone needs help (and they ask in like proper grammar/nicely...not in annoying chatspeak such as plz wr cn i go 2 gt mne), I might answer them depending on whether I'm feeling nice. Still, it's not like anyone is obliged to start chatting with random strangers. I almost never received help from anyone outside my guild ever since I joined Mabinogi and I don't see why it's rude to not help a random person. It's not like in real life, we go around giving money to random people who look like they might be going through a financial struggle.
  
  Also, I'm not too sure why people are getting mad at "rich/pro" people...? I'm pretty sure just as many level 500s are unwilling to help others as level 2000s are.
  
  Plus, no one ever had to teach me how to fight either. I learned through experience or I googled. I mean, google is everyone's friend...most of the time.
