Oh no worries, not accusing you of anything. ^^
I can understand where you're coming from then, but if Mabinogi was just make everything easy for everyone, it wouldn't be much of a game. Games are supposed to be challenging, and just because new players complain, doesn't mean the whole system should change for them. There are plenty of great mages in Mabi who managed to get through it without MP pots being purchasable. It takes a lot of AP, and therefore a lot of mana if you're constantly using it, but Mabi being a game, you deal with the challenges in said game, not beg for an easy way out. Making pots isn't really that challenging or strenuous is it? Newbies can spam ciar beginner if need be.

So how would it be if the Healer Shop didn't sell HP and SP potions?
Just curious, not trying to be on a side here.

Well personally, I wouldn't fret much. Things would be quite a bit harder, but that's easily supplemented by Life Drain, Rest, Demigod and Dark Knight.

Having no HP pots, I can live with.
Having no stam pots when I use windmill/mag/AR/barrier spikes/sometimes golem as my main attacks? Uh...
Oh wait, I use stam 100 pots anyway. But I think not having any stam pots is killer since you not only use stam with skills, but also with regular punching monsters, punching trees, picking eggs, digging potatoes, etc. etc. It would be unfair to any newbie when they have to sit down and rest all the time to recover that 60 stam that is used up extremely quickly just by punching trees.

It would certainly be funny.

Getting your hp/sp high enough means you don't usually have to worry about it. Unless I'm doing an advanced dungeon or something of the like I usually don't bother anymore. Just time your life drains! Those things like to eat stamina...

Well at least we get more legitimate reasons now.
Having no pots available to buy would be interesting. I rarely buy any pots, maybe a stack of hp30's from the healer's as back up on a difficult run here and there. Otherwise, I make my own pots or simply pick them up from things I kill. Then again, I am a hybrid and use a bit of everything. If I were a pure build and relied solely on my mp or stam to get things done then I'd imagine it would be difficult.
