People are always free to criticize. In fact, I could actually use some help updating it since I'm just now able to start playing again and have no clue about anything post-Blood Lord.
You could start with my Evie guide on this forum, it covers almost everything in post BL content. It doesn't have build order advice like your guide, though.

If you want build order advice you can lower the priority of golem seeing as it becomes fairly useless, and make reverse grav a high priority

Golem is has been replaced with Mana Pistol now, you can bring more than one Mana Pistol into the dungeon which makes it so much more effective and it doesn't die so easily in the higher levels. So Golem shouldn't be even recommended.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, still new to both this forum and the game.
How exactly is this guide read?
Like I notice the top priority skill is attained at level 2x, does that mean I should stock up AP till then?
Thanks,

Rank the lower levels skills first to the required limit, then work on the skills you get as you progress.

The skills are just listed in order or priority. Meaning, you get the highest you can in the list at any given time. If it's not available, then just get what you can until then.

I think what you're forgetting is that people don't start at level 56. Pistol comes 14 levels after golem. Until you reach that level, golem is helpful for things like Hidden and Red Tyrant, which are staples to leveling during dry spells without any quests for EXP. If you duo spam Hidden with a good partner, you might be able to eliminate the need for it, but not everyone is reliable, and sometimes it's a struggle to get a party unless you're hosting, as I've noticed that people like to kick you before you even get on the boat for whatever reason. In such cases, it may be better just to solo it with a golem, which only takes slightly longer but gives a higher EXP yield per trip (and without free boat rides, this may even be ideal since you get more out of your tokens). People have tried to counter this by arguing that a golem at F/F can still do the job, but from personal experience, I can tell you that it's too slow and dies too easily to make a difference at all.

Depending on my mood i can use both xD mana pistol usually lures bosses, while Golem blocks them near the mana pistol. That way i get to be lazzy and spam BT with my scythe or wichever spell i feel like spamming with my staff. (Usually i try to spam arrows to build SP and gravity the boss)

You can solo hidden without a golem REALLY easily. In fact, I die more often when I use the golem then when I don't.

I understand you haven't been able to touch boat 6 gameplay, and is still wanting to see boat 6 gameplay for yourself first before doing any changes.
But seeming you made a post in another thread, continued bashing critical hit, make me wonder.
You kept saying "Critical Hit is BAD", yet where's the proof? Have you even rank critical hit at all? Have you even tried procing critical hit in boat 6? And have you, even bother to reconsider, that knocking those trash mob down could be quite beneficial even in solo play, as those spears hits hard and rarely misses.
You can say that you didn't play up to boat 6 yet, that's okay, but saying something that you didn't confirm yourself, is really irresponsible.
I don't want to bring back all these Critical Hit arguments, but I want you to think, and test out critical hit out yourself first before posting another "critical hit is bad" comment.

You can do a lot of things without pistol, too. I'm just saying it shouldn't be ruled out as an option simply because pistol exists, especially when you don't have much else to use besides a wisp at the level you get golem. And if you do choose to use it, ranking it makes all the difference in its survivability and utility, contrary to what the guide implies.

I don't intend to ever test critical hit for myself.
That, would require ruining my own character and it's not something I want to do.
If it's really
so needed by boat 6, then you'd think by that high of level that people would be able to make their own decisions and decide for themselves if they want it or not. My guide is just a guideline, after all. It's not a rock solid proclamation by Morrighan that
must be followed.
Besides, even if it did turn out beneficial 50+ then my advice given in another thread still stands since at a prior level ranking Critical Hit would be a waste when there's still other more important skills like Insane Reaper to rank. It's not like people are gonna have much else to rank at that point anyways, so they may as well make their own decision in that regard. But as it stands to reason, it would seem my advice as it is tends to be valid for a good 5/7th (71.43%) of the game's entire gameplay thus far. So, if people want to do it later on, that's fine. And because of that, my advice is just fine as it stands.

I generally agree that it's valuable at lower level, so there's no point not getting it. Besides, it's not a high priority skill anyways. I didn't even tell people to rank it. I just gave pros and cons and told people to decide for themselves.
