I don't really mind, that sort of thing doesn't bother me. If they've got a problem with what I do with my free time, then they aren't really my friends.

I try get my friends to play as well. If they have anything negative to say, then I'm extra-ruthless in CoD4 or SC2. >=]

I have little issue with games, anime with those idiots who think its all hentai or the same as American cartoons, I have no issue admitting it; I have to read a personal memoir I was forced to write on my last convention visit which I will get to read infront of 67 students and their parents. There is no point in being ashamed of what you like.

I'm not embarrassed to tell my friends because I make friends with people who don't judge me so easily on what I do for hobbies.
But I am embarrassed to go on Mabi in my school library where people are walking past and can see me running around in a game...yeah. xD

Not really.
While NA Mabinogi is unpopular, let someone try to tell me what to do with my free time.

Not the game itself but the fact that I'm wasting my time playing it for hours.
This. Story of my hobby in hiding.

Yes/no. I'm usually around people who spend most of their time drinking and working or going to college that hardly know what MMOs are. When i say i game they assume COD:MW2, Halo, or Final Fantasy. When I say MMO they just think of WoW and I'm very open about my WoW distaste so usually it's passed off that i'm hardcore or something because i'm not mainstream in their minds lol. But it does make me feel like an idiot when i say it even still.

mm, I'd be fine with telling since all my friends are otaku, but nobody in my circle of friends plays MMOs, so it wouldn't matter. But I think the problem would be that I'm -always- in character except for guild chat.

I'm only embarrassed about saying the name. It's so stupid sounding and obscure.

I am embarrassed. "Hey I play a game called Mabinogi in my spare time!" Yeah.. Doesn't really make me 'hot' to guys. xD
