Why are so many people gushing over Karok?

  That's quite an... offensive way to put things. I prefer swords too, but spear players (at least good ones) are not Spin2Win. I've seen some do great amounts of damage without taking any at all, just by timing their furies.

  His extremely high stamina cost your friend is talking about is probably just from Nexus/Power struggle.
  
  And if he's talking about movement speed, all characters move the same.
  
  If he's talking about attack speed, Lann is the fastest and will probably always be the fastest.

  He still can't take multiple hits in a row, and has to stop his stamina gain or use stamina to use it.

  I've seen video's of Karok, and in one it looked like he was a lot slower than all the other characters, his attack speeds are about the same as Fiona, Maybe a little slower Lann Is the fastest out yet, And I doubt Kai will be faster, In fact he may be quite slow if I do say so myself.

  I personally don't care much for Karok (Although I will probably try him, like I will Fiona [eventually]). I just like ranged characters better. Especially magicians. I'll probably give Kai (Think that's his name?) a try, but my main will more than likely continue to be Evie.
  
  It's really weird when people go "OMGPERVERT" when they find out I'm a guy. It's not like I have a choice on Evie's gender.
  
  I still find it weird that the Staff Evies don't get Blink. Teleportation skills are usually spells that casters get. I must admit I have found myself wishing I had Blink in several occasions when I happen to get knocked into a corner, and nearly get my staff fed to me through my ears. o-o

  Perfect guarding is easy. Imo, anyways. Perfect guard can be timed within half a second before receiving the attack, which is a lot of reaction time.
  
  Personally I'm looking forward to Kai.
