Why are so many people gushing over Karok?

  Fixed. Saying "Ripe" and/or "Spin" changes the whole meaning of that...
  That makes it sound more like some weird dance, instead of being a Trollgiant.
  
  I personally prefer Fast (Even at the cost of damage per hit, speed is what counts) Melee/Ranged chars, or Burst Damage Mages.
  Although, Lann doesn't attract me, for some reason.
  Possibly because it's too easy to die, even with all his speed.
  
  I still like Tanks, though. They're good as distractions for my enemies. :3
  
  Speaking of. It's funny how sometimes a boss will suddenly ignore all the people smashing its face in nearby, and head straight for the one ALL the way across the map, that's sitting there doing something like building a campfire. o-o

  My preferences for play style are pretty similar to yours. I find faster, more responsive characters to be a lot funner to play than slower-moving characters. That feeling of instantaneous reaction you get with them is a lot more satisfying without having to worry as much about timing as you would with a slower character.
  
  Still, I'll probably give Karok a try just for the heck of it. Who knows, I might find that I actually enjoy playing as him and make him a permanent alt. Though I think nothing will be able to turn me away from maining as an Evie. Scythes are too much fun. xD

  And there are always really pro videos, that doesn't mean the character is pro. Have you seen the Chiulin solo by a fiona where she doesn't take a scratch either?

  Well, I'd be pretty mad, too if some mercenary came to my home/base and started making a campfire. :/
