Promblem with marriage its religon to civil so fixing that will take longer
Its sad for the double standards
Its like how the us had equality for all men and we had to fight for blacks

The only way to have gender equality is to eliminate genders.
I don't mean turn all unisex either,
I mean no more gender.

We should all just become hermaphrodites?

I'm talking about the abolition of masculinity and femininity.
Styles would no longer be reserved for just men or for just women. Omni-styles would take over, or cross dressing would have to not be considered "cross".
Roles would have to take a re-vamping too. It would no longer be considered Gentlemanly, or Lady-like. This would be difficult to overcome due to certain "biological dispositions". (I.e. it will always be the woman's role to give birth.)
In order for a world without gender to exist, we would have to already be close to the utopian state. But it would be creepy, since you'd never know by looking at a person if they were a man or a woman.
That might actually be a good thing though. In fact, I'm certain that would be good.

In other words we have to change everyone's mentality and psychology. Looks like the media will have to change drastically and start with a whole new generation.

I think it's retarded.
I'm all for being equal, but equal in everything, not just what you want to be. If some guy is gonna carry 50 pound bags of concrete on a construction job and a woman wants the same job and equal pay then she's gonna do that too. Likewise I think guys should be able to cook and do housework as much as a woman can ( and unfortunately I have to :< ). I don't give a crap about chivalry stuff either, It's not like I wont hold a door open for some woman passing through with her hands full, but I'll do it for anyone regardless of what's between their legs.
It's unfortunate that women are built less sturdy than men, but anyone willing enough can achieve just as much as the average guy physically. I know women who can break my bones and I'm more comfortable around them than those whose bones I would break if we play some kind of sports together.
As for "reverse rape" or anything considered a sexual crime, I get pretty pissed off. It's very easy for a woman to accuse you of rape and succeed. Most of the time people won't even ask for evidence, she just has to be convincing. That makes it very dangerous for guys to date, if you piss her off all she has to do is yell rape, regardless of if your pants were ever off or not. Now if a guy tries that everyone is like "lol yeah i'm sure you enjoyed it so it's not rape".
Personally, I probably would enjoy it unless I didn't find her attractive, but that's not the point.

Thats the issue with the legal system. It to a extend it based on how things are seen
Becuz they dont want it to be like islam where women are objects
But that fear also in the bad way obsturts real fair justice
Or in lay mans term the law used on both sides equaly

but while we aren't making women objects, we're treating them like pets! Not wanting them to get harmed or anything and setting up strict rules against harassing.

^ Very true. How do you make sure your bird won't get harmed? Put it in a cage.

I think for the title you meant "Double Standards" and not "Reverse Sexual Harrasment"? Just a thought. Sexual harassment is stuff like trying to get favours from a coworker or flirting shamelessly with a subordinate at work.

The fact that it's harassment means that it would be shameful.

...How? I can harass you and not feel ashamed about it.
-
Kueh wrote on 2010-11-30 20:58
You don't have to feel ashamed about an action for the action to be shameful. Shameful means that it should cause shame, or that it's worthy of causing shame. Whether you feel shame doesn't have a bearing.

In the context, however, it was the manner in which it was done. Flirting shamelessly would be to flirt in a totally unabashed manner.
