In the context which it was used is why it's shamefully. If the flirting merits or is worth shame, that is, it is dishonorable, or otherwise inappropriate, then it is shameful behavior regardless of whether the person actually feels shame.

I remember hearing something about this topic at school.
One of my friends was apparently sexually harassed at a party by this ugly chick. Poor him..

IMO, women may be economically/politically disadvantaged, but men are socially disadvantaged.
In other words, while women get less pay or have less voice in gov (not so much now ever since 1919), men are blamed more and looked as "perverts".
This is just like how US back in 1950s thought all black ppl lived in the ghettos, smoking pot, robbing white ppls houses while raping white women. Not all men are sex beasts.

The fact that you call woman to man sexual harassment 'reverse sexual harassment' is kinda sexist. haha

I think women wanting equality but still applying a double standard is stupid and hypocritical. I don't mind when men have fears like normal human beings, and if women don't want to get hit, I don't see why they think it's not hypocritical of them to hit someone else, male or female.
I think both genders are at fault. One gender expects certain things from the other, and the other tries to fulfill those expectations while pretending they're not trying at all. And either gender can be hypocritical. I know I keep saying that word, but there's no other way to describe it. They want stuff for themselves they won't let others have.

Not any more Girls are better shopers thus get control of the money
Thats the main issue with the law making
We say equality yet we have double stanards
Which is not much better then no equality
I dont have an issue with the female gender getting equal pay
AS LONG AS THEY EARN IT!
Thats one of the thing about military
Regardless of gender you can rise the ranks by merit

I dunno if this relates, but I hate women who say that they'd never cheat and love a guy and then end up cheating on him with a "bad boy" because the guy is really nice to her and a complete gentleman.
It's like, what the f*ck, b*tch? You say you want a man to love her and treat you right, then you dump him because he's doing exactly what you want in a man.
So irritating.

Double standards, so blame society's perspective. Maybe.
A lot of people I see unknowingly accept this double standards despite their stands that "both genders must be equal." The way I see it, the bias has to go before equality is to have any chance. Like the black population in the US. A lot of people had to let go of their bias/prejudice in their actions before the general mindset of actual equality came and dug itself into existence.
Biologically, of course it won't ever be equal. An employer shouldn't be able to force a laboring woman to work to keep her job, even though there are cases that aren't supportive of that idea.

Also notice how women never honestly have to work towards getting a guy. Granted men are at fault for going all OMG I LOVE YOU at women at first sight but still....

I don't really see men do that a lot outside of the internet...

men aren't as loud and obvious as that irl, we tend to go more calm and flirty than that. But the point was how men tend to do all the courting, and only men do courting. (i have yet to see or find a girl actively going for a guy outside of a show / comic)

I guess I'm biased because I asked Zid out and not the other way around. Any guy that's asked ME out, I've turned down. It's one of those weird things about me, I guess. I don't hold to the "the guy must do the asking out" standard because then I could end up waiting forever.
There are men and women that make the rest of their kind look bad, is what I'll say. Some guys will court because they care, some of them will try to convince a girl they like her just so they can do her and toss her aside. Same for a woman. She'll say she likes someone to use him, then screw around with another guy. Both genders to everything while pretending to be innocent. Bah.
I can't word things correctly today, but if I don't say it now I'll probably just forget.
