People have told me that the current classes, except for the staff skills, are "complete" in Korea. Meaning no new skills etc; only transformations and other features.
Is this true? Do you think scythe/lann/fiona will still receive new skills?

They all got new skills in EP7
Spear Lann - Smash 3
Sword Lann - Smash 0
Fiona - HS Counter
Staff Evie - Dodge

As long as they keep updating, there is no such thing as "complete". They will add more skills to the classes to keep those people with a billion AP busy.

It would be funny if they add in a "Demi God" SP skill which drains 100 ap per use.

I wouldn't be surprised, lol. Transformation already costed 10 AP.

It'll never be complete unless the developers decide it to be, maybe there'll be a long period of time where they won't expand on the skills, but eventually they'll have to add new ones or else they'll be stuck to adding dungeons, towns and monsters for the rest of the time.

There is also the problem of nothing to do on vindictus when you are maxed out in everything...

Everyone gets a handful of new skills in ep7.
And there is still room for more smash skills.
Unfortunately they're all quite boring. Its either "do your smashes consecutively extra times" like Butterfly Swing or "charge your smash" like Stigma hammer.
I'm hoping devCAT brings XE skills over, but with some sort of cool down and make it less powerful. Those would be kinda nice.

I dunno. I just think we could use some more options in combat. And I really hope trash enemies become a little less trash later on. Boat 4 was okay thanks to their addition of Hammerguards, but if trash mobs were actually harder to beat than just mindlessly left clicking followed by an occasional right click, the game would feel a lot better and less grindy.
devCAT is trying too hard to appeal to stupidity. Back in the days of early mabinogi it was all about strategy and skill. Now its all firepower.
"What you want something more challenging? Instead of making something creative we'll just give you the same mobs but with ten times more hp"

Yeah, thats my main problem with this game. You typically have to run 3 stages of worthless mobs to get to the boss, which is the only stage that matters. The hammer guys are the only ones that are interesting at ALL, because they can actually do a tiny amount of damage to you. Too bad they get stunned with any attack making them worthless.

They can attack from behind other monsters, and deal quite a chunk if you're on Hard/Macha.
Also, the weaken you.
Now if only we had larger masses...

Mm I know what you mean. My biggest peeve is those stupid "respawning rooms". I'd prefer it if you just had a bunch of mobs placed strategically in a formation that actually required thinking to bust (like a million archers on a tower + a bunch of charging mobs).
Off topic though...

Yeah, but the chance of surprising you like that is ridiculously low if you're in a group of 4. I just wish there was a dungeon where, with a group of 4, someone could actually get incapped on hard macha, by a mob, without everyone secretly thinking "Wow, this person is a complete idiot".
Cause at the moment, if you get incapped and you aren't on the boss stage, well... that just doesn't happen.
A game that does mobs properly is L4D. When you aren't fighting a tank, or at a finale, everyone doesn't automatically think you're an idiot for getting incapped. You can get caught off guard... it happens.
Unlike Vindictus, where the first 3 maps are seriously nothing but FLUFF.

All we need now are jockeys and and boomers, and we'd be good.

They need mobs to have superarmor with low stun resist.
This will make things more interesting.
I was so excited when I saw hammerguards because I thought they would be weaker versions of gnoll chieftain. But they got normal hit stuns.
Even if they were stunned by a strong smash or a single spear it would be nice. Just not so trash like it is now.
And I wish the regular gnolls in boat 4 moved more like the werewolves do. That would make them actually hard to deal with.
And archers could really use BETTER AIM. "Better to take out archers first" my ass. They're the least threatening enemies in the game. Sometimes they rarely get lucky and their arrows hit for like 40 damage. Those things fly with an arc of an airborne crumpled piece of paper.

Source engine. Why the hell not?

Doesn't hero mode have the one mob per room that's buffed in HP and damage, and cannot be stunned?
