I think the mobs would be a lot less trashy if they didn't wait a full 5 seconds before making a really slow attack. They seriously just stand there and wait for you to kill them.
So very true...
Perilous Ruin Gnolls: Crouch down and wait about... 3-4 seconds before rearing back for a bit and FINALLY swinging. Don't forget that half the time instead of attacking they just... bark at you.
Perilous Ruin Gnoll Veterans: Rear back and take about two seconds to complete a swing. Just like the lesser gnolls, they just bark at you half the time instead of attacking.
Hoarfrost Kobolds: Point, point, swing. Takes about 2-3 seconds for an attack.
Hoarfrost Kobold Veterans (The double axe guys): Takes a second to go Nyaha! Before swinging his axes twice, only enemy that is actually quick to perform an attack, sadly.
Ainle Goblins: Slow, lumbering.. well, he's enslaved, or mind controlled, whatever, doesn't help the fact he takes about 2-3 seconds to complete an attack animation.
Ainle Goblin Officers: About the same as their lesser brethren.
Ainle Vampire (No weapons): Takes a step back, then lunges forward with two attacks or just swings with one arm... kay, either one takes like 2 seconds. Only thing he has going for him is that he's a bit fast on his feet.
Ainle Vampire Guards (lancers): All of their attacks take at least one or two seconds to complete, and is very blatant with the lance, so you can see it coming.
Ainle Vampire Mages: Takes like 2-3 seconds to charge up a shot, but is actually kind of accurate, so if he's at a distance and you're distracted by other enemies, they can do a bit of damage, but are hardly a threat.
Boat 4 Gnoll regulars: They're agile when they're on all fours, but when they're standing they prefer to just slowly strafe for like 3 seconds before they finally decide to do an attack animation that's about as fast as a Perilous Ruins Gnoll Veteran. If they had attacks like the 'Prairie Entrance Boss', meaning, they can attack on all fours, or heck, perform werewolf attacks, they'd actually be an interesting enemy.
Boat 4 Hammerguards: Okay, these guys are supposed to have slow windups, and honestly, if you're in a big group with lesser gnolls and a couple hammers are around, then ehh, you might take a hit or two, but really, if you see one coming, just do a sprint smash (I'm Fiona) to do a quick stun. These guys are hardly a threat as long as you're aware.
Boat 4 Archers: The only archers worth mentioning, they are quick to shoot off a shot, and are far more accurate than any other ranged enemy save for the Vampire mages. I like these enemies, because they are plentiful, and are actually an annoyance, but sadly, not something you have to worry about over your health.
Wisps: Bounce and charge forward, woopdidoo.
Spiders: =/
