Yeah thats really awesome in my opinion (fighting player characters and boss characters as regular enemies). I can't wait for that.

Hell, American RPGs from the present all the way back to D&D have enemies that used the exact same skills and setups as players. I think that makes the game more interesting.
Yep, Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights are some of my favorite games and most fond Roleplaying experiences. Heck, I still roleplay on a friend's module in NWN.
About the video, it's pretty sweet, in addition to the clones, I like the whole approach to the dungeon itself. A nice big survival thing.

Just saying: Lanns don't suck. At ALL.
D: Depends on the Lanns you party with. I've only met a few that I would actually party with again, and most of them happen to be in my guild. Also, standing still doesn't work with boat 4 archers anymore. They have a higher accuracy and holy hell their crits go past the shields. I've changed my strategy to killing them first in my dungeons, they're a definite annoyance.
The clone ones look awesome to fight. Though I don't really think they're clones in the video, seeing as how it's all of the classes vs you. xD God I would hope they're not clones in the sense that they can use SP skills, I'd get my arse kicked by my blind arrow or something. That would be sad.

Lanns don't suck. They're just easy to suck at.
I've seen maybe like 3 or 4 lanns that don't suck.
They need to realize their role more properly. They're not supertanks. They need to step back when appropriate. Seriously.
Edit: That video, I seriously hope they gave shadow fang a huge buff for that dungeon. Because last I checked, Shadow Fang deals ONE damage. He's less of a threat than a normal mob. We already know how pointlessly easy beating Shadow Fang and Embermain at once is, given they were midbosses in boat 1.

Every class is easy to suck at. Evies get the idea into their heads that they can prance into a boss smash despite having just cloth armour. Sword Lanns don't realize how tight their invincibility frame window is. Spear Lanns spam 3690 without realizing that to do so they need to be heavily armoured. You cannot lanncopter if you are not a tank. Fionas seem to suffer, sometimes, from the delusion that their roll works like Slip Dash, or that Counterattack is the only skill they should use.
It's all about the player and how they make/use their build. Not the character. Not the weapon.
Also, finally a game with a community that wants the game made harder. Sick of the whining twerps of Mabi who insist on being handed everything on a silver platter. Even sicker of Nexon caving to it for the money.

From what I've seen, it's the exact reverse. A lot of the Fionas I see act like a one sworded Lann, most neglect sprint smash and counter (which knockdown, which is what I see Fiona's role being).

What? Counterattack is the only attack you SHOULD use.
What else are you going to do?

If you're bored with the difficulty of the game, then you just go solo everything because that's actually kind of hard.

Usually only when there are multiple bosses.
Werewolves, Centinels, Spider Overlord. And maybe raid bosses.

Heavy stander counter attack O.o? Also Cucurbita, not everyone has the reflexes to do that, I probably have the reflexes of a sloth when it comes to doing that OR it's just me being bad at predicting the bosses attack. I prefer just running and shield bashing or whichever I can do better. I was once good at counter attacking but that was only after playing 2 straight days of Vindictus D:

yeah but when was making such a broad statement ever a good idea?

The game gets harder. Later on, many bosses require REQUIRE transform+staff Evie support for the majority of skill levels.

Sounds DELICIOUS, maybe that 1 party feather I bring every run on hard/season of macha will do something someday.

Counter has really lost its use for me. I only use it for BP, honestly.
Every boss below BP has so many openings I can always just use Hammer #1 for stuns. I end up using my Kite for everything instead.

;) I make it based off my personal experience, it doesn't reflect anyone elses. The majority of the Lanns I have partied with don't know how to do anything except whirl around and get hit. And die, of course, they're very good at that. I can't say it's just Lanns either, because there are quite a few Fiona's and Evies that don't know their class either. Then again.. I'm also not saying I'm a "pro" at the game, because I make mistakes.. I just try to learn from them and not do it again.
But yay for that last Staff Evy bit~

Centinels? Tough? Surely you jest.
