Every class is easy to suck at. Evies get the idea into their heads that they can prance into a boss smash despite having just cloth armour. Sword Lanns don't realize how tight their invincibility frame window is. Spear Lanns spam 3690 without realizing that to do so they need to be heavily armoured. You cannot lanncopter if you are not a tank. Fionas seem to suffer, sometimes, from the delusion that their roll works like Slip Dash, or that Counterattack is the only skill they should use.
It's all about the player and how they make/use their build. Not the character. Not the weapon.
Also, finally a game with a community that wants the game made harder. Sick of the whining twerps of Mabi who insist on being handed everything on a silver platter. Even sicker of Nexon caving to it for the money.
But...counterattack is pretty darn awesome.

CA forces them on their knees/paws while you tower over them with a giant sword/hammer.

Eh, I dunno. I just started listing off fights with multiple boss enemies at once.
The biggest difficulty behind them is that you're being attacked simultaneously from different directions, making it hard to land hits properly.
I haven't tried soloing centinels yet so I honestly have no clue.
I dunno about you guys, but everyone keeps saying the bosses will get more difficult, and I've been snoozing my way through almost every boss solo. Red Tyrant and Werewolves were a challenge to solo at first, but I got over that pretty fast too. Boat 4's difficulty was greatly exaggerated so I was expecting something cool, but it turned out easier than boat 3 for most parts.
I've seen videos of future bosses. They look more challenging, but nothing too special. If anything I can always bring party members.
People always say weird things like "don't rely on parties! don't rely on stun! don't rely on secondary weapons! you'll spoil yourself and bosses in the future will be impossible".
First off, I don't see what the problem is with using efficiency to beat a boss as quickly as possible and moving on to the next. And secondly, I can't remember the last time I threw a secondary weapon for any reason besides knocking off a mask, or for getting titles. And I almost always solo unless its with my friend.
I suppose I'm set for the future content. Vindictus is fun, but beyond easy.

Last time I checked, Vindictus / Mabinogi Heroes was an online game centered around playing in a party, so why shouldn't you come to rely on them? Sure you can solo, but it's not like you're forced to solo unless it's that once-in-awhile Bonus Mission.
As for secondary weapons, some people abuse them. Yes, use spears to get a knockdown: it's what they are for. Don't get used to 6 people using spears at the same time. It's silly to get rely on such a basic strategy when I'm sure a few people in your party actually want to fight the boss.
I won't get started on Counter and the uses of a Heavy Shield. To each his own on that one.

I 6 player spear lock the giant spider, and everyone says "you so noob"!
But I cleared the 3 man mission, and I've also solo'd it. Problem?
I just want my drops so I can make the spider lord set. Fastest kill is best for farming runs.
And if spear locking is noob, then I suppose chain hooks are the noobiest thing possible. Only takes two people to lock a mob for far longer than a spear can lock, and thats 6 spears vs 2 hooks. Against bosses with higher stun resist, that hook requirement stays the same while spear count requirement increases.
But for some reason, hook locking is considered a high skill tactic.

I don't think I've actually seen a Chain Hook equipped on anyone since I was like... Lv20.
But I wasn't attacking you in general, moreso the people who died in seconds when people aren't spear locking a boss. Meaning, the people who rely on spear locking so much that they have no idea what attacks the boss actually has.

I find spamming small bombs makes me feel better about my horrible aim with spears.
Now the people who spear lock just want to get the boat over as quick as possible to get more exp. Well that's how I see it.

Chain hooks are actually pretty hard to use properly. I've never been able to properly aim those things.

I don't see why people want to spear lock anything, unless they need to get a dungeon over with quick or waste all their tokens before a token reset. To me, spear locking just seems like the boring way to do dungeons. It's not like we can do that many dungeons with the tokens, so why not take your time and enjoy it? Unless, of course, you PUG the entire thing and then it's not so much fun.
>_> Truthfully, I rarely use secondary weapons. I'm only decent at aiming the spears (I can get Goliath's leg tendon out and the Red Knights blade, I'm happy with that much aim! The Polar Bear can go bite himself). In fact, I think the only time I really start using them is if the boss is wailing on someone and I want to spear lock it so I don't have to keep healing. Or when I get tired of someone luring the boss away from my Firebolt :(

I never bring anything but mine bombs. I prefer the bosses to not be spear-locked, so I can get seals from idiots.
