Congratulations, you can play in the Combat Quadrant (Melee) you're supposed to be horrible at. Giants have one skill that does not in any way make up for their utter and undeniable lack of a Ranged Combat Quadrant. Elf Melee is like Giant Magic. You can do it but you won't be the best at it. Giant Ranged is like Elf Time Travel. It doesn't exist.

wait what!? "wont be best at it!?"
I'll have you know I am as good as any human or ELF mage.
Do NOT compare melee elves to Giant mages there is nothing similar about the two!!

Personally I'm flattered to be compared to Giant Magic... honestly the limitations to that class barely make a difference maxed out. There is a similarity tho, both are underestimated.

Still missing 37 str from skills, and Fleet/Steel Needle. Also ego has a long way to go... if I don't kill it for a mura.
I'm as good as any human melee, I just don't have duel wield. I know my race limitations, just means I have to play better.

Ill make a deal with you. You can dual wield things that the game makers intended for elves to do. You know. Like Arrows. or something.
Lol, no offense though, I'm not trying to start any argument, just stating my point.
No offense taken, was just pointing out it's pretty common in other instances of elf mention outside of mabi, dual wield lightweight swords is fairly common. Obviously not gonna see an elf with a two hand sword or a monster lance like those ones tho.
That and it's the only real elf melee limitation that still bugs me lol.
