I thought the armors were limited time only?
And isn't this sword only on CN server?
God, elves are so babied
And S Rank wave sweeper is so common....
Man, us elves have it so good.
The sword will be released to other servers as well, considering that it's a design contest winner. And if it's only 1-2 mil on the CN server, then it'll probably be that much or less when it comes here, since the CN server's items are generally more expensive compared to our own. If it's only 1-2 mil (the price of the Red/Black LLB before the latest fishing event), though while being rare, it isn't exactly
that rare.
Of course, since we get things differently than the other servers, chances are, there's a good probability that the sword will come in with a character card, and not implemented into fishing. With the huge hype for the sword, especially for Elves, the price of the weapon probably won't be more than 500k, if it follows the trend of all the other character card items.
But compared to Giants, Elves are definitely pampered. Giants had a crappy range attack, and while now extremely powerful, is completely impractical aside from one or two bursts of damage. Elves were originally designed to not be able to wear heavy armors or wield two handed swords. They gave Elves the ability to use Brionac, because it wouldn't be fair to Elves that they now have a 1x5 item in their inventory that they can't use, especially considering that they need it for G12. Do Giants get any special treatment like that? They should be able to also equip Andras' Bow and use it, since that can be considered a Generation reward, and yet, if Giants accidentally choose that instead of the sword, then they have to trade or sell it.
Giants, as said, are supposed to be the melee specialized race. And yet, they only get 5 different types of Heavy Armor (ignoring copies like the three versions of Rose Plate/Spaika Silver Plate Armor), and 8 types of Light Armor. Elves got access to all the Light Armors that Humans can use, plus those armors that are Elf exclusive, along with the Dragon Rider Plate Armor (a Heavy Armor that they could have easily just made a Light Armor to allow every race to use it) and there's also the Elf Berserk Armor, which as it would turn out, to be an Elf-exclusive Heavy Armor (though I don't think any version has it released yet, just sitting in the game data). So Elves, the nimble archer/mage archtype, has almost as many Heavy Armors as Giants, who are the war hardened melee archtype.
Then you got the fact that devCAT never really nerfed any of the Elves' skills after release, where as Giants, who needed buffs for some skills, specifically for Throwing Attack, got the short end of the stick, considering that 25 seconds between each use of their primary range attack is overkill for being of any use. So, I would probably cut back on the sarcasm some. :V
