Why is everything getting buffed to oblivion? I mean it makes it easier on us but... do we really need it?
Because we need it for the mysterious Advent of Cichol, in which we fight hordes of super anti-milletiant in which we duke it out with monsters that have 2k hp, 40 prot, 1000 defense, their 1000 attack base damage and non poisonable, and that's just basic! D:
J/k
Most likely the new director believes in overpowering the players and going back to traditional mmo standards with classes, etc.
@Topic: Is the Artisian Upgrade stats random?

The Artisan Upgrade is the equivilent of using a pet training kit on your weapon.

Hmm, Question.
For dual wielding and the crit damage bonus. They're still calculated separately right? Because with 2 swords you can get a boost of +68% Crit. (Not including the 6th slot)
The charts show that weapons that are typically dual wielded have around a half crit boost% than weapons that are not dual wieldable. So i am assuming they stack possibly.

Can't wait for having 2 x-grade red broads, fully upgraded for damage with 6 R upgrades. Even with my melee skills, I'll tear through everything when I FH.
How in the world are going to get 2 x grade weapons.

I've never even seen 1 of those on Alexina. On the whole server I don't think even 1 has been made.

I made a thread about this pertaining to g13 and spirit weapons actually. The upgrades themselves make the weapons ego's...almost literally since they can glow as well!
Ego 2handed swords=Rich Crocodile Claymore monster dropped 17 dur +3 max, min, crit+3 S upgrades. That's basically an ego Masamune with level 40 stats(ONLY off by 2 max damage!!! >.>) but with more crit.
Ego Wands:.........bleep, that extra crit damage......*imagines how strong fireball/thunder will be+g13 int formula*......*explodes*
Ego Bows: These are some of the only viable one's according to everyone. No matter what, ego bow's still have their range, but even with the extra range, come g14 Glorious Caliburn Long Bow monster dropped has 60 max and 64% crit, 90 max with Bow Mastery. S type upgrades will give it (This is if the S upgrades continue to give +7 each level) +42 max, making it 132. Close to a maxed LLB ego, but even with that, llb ego and ring bow ego with level 50 stats has 163 max/185 max. The bow ego's are still useful mostly, though I have NO idea the max an Artisan Upgrade can give in terms of dex.
Ego 1handed sword: These are half outclassed and get a boost as well. You can make a sword as strong as an ego, but at the same time, for those with a high level ego, they'll be able to dual-wield 2 ego's pretty much. Or the lucky few who get a Sword of Elsionore can just use that.

You'll need a
Artisan Upgrade Restore Kit though.

Pretty much out of luck for R/S type upgrades.
G13 Cylinders can get Artisan upgrades though.
