I already mentioned I think the right fork is probably the spot that most river walkers should go to in order to avoid ruffling anyone's feathers. That last spawn is rather ideal for leveling during double exp events+exp potion though, as you can cycle through 4 cluster of mobs with Thunder and experience almost no delay at any point in the cycle... you're killing basically nonstop.
Everyone training crash shot, single-target skills, or just "botting to level with water cannon" probably should go to the right fork though.

It's not the fact that you are affecting someone negatively, it's the fact that you are exploiting a glitch or bug to have an advantage over someone or negatively affect others WITH THAT GLITCH/BUG that makes it bad.
It's also less that it's someone exploiting a glitch or bug, it's the fact that they are having an unfair advantage over someone or negatively affecting others in ways that are impossible without the glitch or bug.
This is the point where we flat out just disagree, and probably can't come to an agreement on. I don't see how it becomes worse when someone negatively impacts your gameplay just because some glitch was used. Negative imact is not less than negative impact+glitch involved.
If someone is doing a thunder rotation on the last four hob cluster of the river, you stand to lose up to 16 hobs worth of stars, though at the end where you are least likely to need them. If they are doing Crash shot training, you could potentially be missing out on up to 14-21, depending on where they are training, how fast they are killing, and so on. If the person is using some single target skill I'd be surprised if you were missing out on more than 5 hobs. Most of the people I see on the river are that last category.
If you can't get to your desired number of stars by the end of the raft, and need those hobs to do so, then you're not rafting as well as you could be. Overall, I consider this "negative impact" very small, and the "you're doing something bad" to be the big part of the annoyance. That's why I take the stance that the response of "get over it, so what" is justified.
By contrast, the one-charge FB + stand at MT and hit anywhere on the map activities of certain guild leaders in Ruairi in the past could easily wipe out the entire population of the river at times. I see a lot more justification in being upset about that one... and hey look, Nexon actually did something about that one but still didn't ban anyone).
