Spirit Weapon Awakening Buffed
New, more powerful Spirit Weapon Awakening at level 51
(From here on is me rambling about the direction I feel Spirit Weapons need to go in)
Maybe a skill involving calling upon the spirit for more than just a quick nuke? Floats over your back and supports you in combat for maybe a minute or so?
Have them function as a passive and separate means of supporting you. (And have it fueled by a separate Spirit Bar)
Upon activation, the ordinary Spirit Weapon Awakening is used, but rather than leaving as quickly as it appeared, it remains up above you to aid you in combat. From here on out, each 'action' it uses consumes a small portion of your second Awakening bar and they will leave when the bar is depleted. The bar refills completely every real life day and also by 1/20 every in-game day.
Sword Spirit will use Down Attack after a monster is knocked down (not leaving you unable to do so immediately after the spirit, mind you), Blunt Spirit will use Charge if a monster is knocked back by a physical attack, Smash if a monster is knocked down, Bow Spirit uses Magnum Shot if a monster is knocked back by an arrow, Wand Spirit uses a Bolt Magic matching their vessel when a target flinches to one of the user's bolt magics, with Healing Wand using a random bolt magic and the Combat Wand using a random Fused Magic.
Each spirit also has a retaliatory measure that kicks in when you are hit by a physical attack. (You'd still take the damage from the first hit, but would be protected from consecutive attacks) Sword Spirit uses Windmill immediately when you're hit by an enemy, Blunt Spirit uses Stomp (Fomor Quake, not Foot), Bow Spirit uses Magnum Shot (with r1 splash to blow away multiple enemies near the attacker), Wand Spirit retaliates using the first hit of Blaze, sending the target skidding backward, but not exploding (or if exploding, with damage equivalent to minimum-charged Blaze)
