Maybe they're saving it for the Merchant of Venice, like someone mentioned before? haha
Careful Phunkie, that was a joke.
People tend to take stuff like that as a fact, thenparrot it all over the place then get mad when it doesn't come true.

I hope no one takes it seriously.

It would make sense. xD I do wish it was true though lol.
But On-Topic!
I'm gonna be a Mage Destiny. xD
Unless I need to train other Destiny's skills.

Call me weird, but I approve the name change to Destiny System... Class System sounded so boring compared to Destiny System.
Of course, you can change it every week or three weeks, but in your "erinn life" you choose your destiny. This is one of the localization translations I approve of!
I will be alchemist first!
I do agree. I was just poking some fun at it. But I prefer it over class system. Makes me feel "easier" about it.

Originally merchant classes were going to get exp from using lifeskills. Like for example. If you made a dustin armor you might get 300k exp from doing that through a quest (kinda like the party quests we have).
It would allow someone do be completely lifeskiller and enjoy AP and things.
This is the one thing they should have kept. A merchant class like that.
This was also part of the reasons for the original restrictions. They wanted to impliment this without having to make an extra layer of code that would read what class you are in order to purchase a class quest.

...
Class Training x double training potion = 4x training for a single objective...
Class Training x Rainbow event x double training potion = 8x training for a single objective...
Mana Crystalization (Alchemist Job) x Double Training Potion = 1 casting = 4 castings
Mana Crystalization (Alchemist Job) x Rainbow Event x Double Training Potion = 1 casting = 8 castings...
5000/4 = 1,250 actual castings...
5000/8 = 625 actual castings...
G13, where art thou?

WAIT I JUST READ SOMETHING
Choosing a Destiny doesn’t lock you out of abilities you’ve already earned; instead, it will unlock new abilities and enhance existing Destiny abilities.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Does it mean Knights won't be able to rank Hailstorm or Elemental Masteries?
YES?!

YES?!
It means when you for example become Knight Class, you'll get Leap Attack, or Alchemist class, you'll get elemental masteries.
By enhancing "existing destiny skills" it means double skill training for skills that falls within your destiny class. In this case, melee for knights, etc.

Gonna go Archer on my Elf despite being a Melee elf. Then after I finish ranged skills I'll swap over for being a Mage to rank bolts and Thunder.

I have conflicting feelings about this new system. On one hand I can get The Master of Thunder title twice as fast- on the other hand new players will be asking me "hey what class are you?" and I can't respond anymore with "this is Mabinogi there aren't any classes." Mabinogi has just lost a massive amount of its uniqueness in my opinion and its making me want to click uninstall. I guess I will hold out and see what happens.
My question: Can Hailstorm be used by an Alchemist/Knight/ArcherPerson? It seems like only Wizards can train Hailstorm, but I'm wondering if it can still be used by other "destinies."
