Oh then definetely not. Even the most ammoral person wouldn't because of emotions and differing personalities and opinions.
Kyubei's race is assumed to be a hivemind where every single being shares the same thoughts.

It still makes him evil in our eyes, no?
At least of most people. A lot of people wouldn't make that sacrifice.
No, it wouldn't qualify as evil. Calling it evil would be an incorrect assertion of what evil really is. The Incubators do not take joy in our suffering; they only encourage it. The same way we would add certain catalysts to speed up a chemical reaction, they regard our emotions as a catalyst to produce results. If you're really going to take that stance, Kyubey already made an analogy to cattle when describing our situation. He also pointed out how much more the Incubators negotiate with us as sentient beings capable of making our own choices. If you're going to call their race evil, you must first call our race hypocrites. Kyubey never lied to the girls nor intentionally withheld information. He answered all questions asked, and I suspect that someone from his race would have asked all those questions ahead of time instead of asking them when it was too late.
Also, a lot of people choosing not to make that sacrifice is not necessarily a virtue. The counter-argument to that stance is pointing out that an individual would rather see the universe and everything in it die than make a sacrifice that would save it. The Incubators would take this stance, calling such a choice illogical. We humans might even call it evil. "If I can't live, no one can."
Also, Pride, the Incubators have no emotions, and yet they need no reason to keep going.
What's the point of life though?
I mean they have nothing to live for but save the universe...
At least with emotions, we find reason to keep on going.
The fundamental point of life and to live is to exist through self preservation and pass on your genetic information to the next generation. Technically, no one really "dies" because your genetic information continues.
We humans with our "higher intellegence" just like to try to find meaning in meaningless concepts.
If you really want to get technical, there is NO reason for living. The creation of life is a accident on it's own by stuff bumping into each other in the right conditions.
Yeah I get you. I wonder if it's just their race that has no emotions, or do all other races of beings have no emotions... I remember Kyubey mentioning "Do you really think you're the only beings in the universe?" or something a long those lines...
I think it's just them. Self-preservation is considered an objective response rather than subjective. You must also keep in mind that they have as much trouble understanding us as we them. To us, existence without emotions is meaningless; to them, existence with emotions is counterproductive. We believe that living solely on objectivity would give us no reason to live, and you could argue that, just like with imaginary numbers, the Incubator race has been provided under the assumption that someone without emotions not only exists, but still has reason to live. Supposing such a phenomenon is possible, our argument is baseless. Look at many man vs. machine movies, like the earlier Terminator films. Unlike The Matrix and Eve no Jikan, which give machines awareness and feelings, things like Terminator simply assume that the machines are interested in preserving themselves, and thus merely wish to eliminate threats to their survival (us).
Also, I believe the term you're looking for is existential.
I love how we're contemplating so much about a bunch of cartoon girls and a white thingy that doesn't exist.

Putting a philosophical argument into a show with cutesy lolis does not stop it from being a philosophical argument, much like playing and enjoying a game but acting like the game is beneath you does not change the fact that said game apparently is not beneath you if you play and enjoy it.
xD I'm not saying I don't enjoy doing that myself, that's why I made a Mabinogi fanfic to begin with.
But sometimes, just taking a step back and looking at what I'm arguing about makes me think of how amusing it all is.
