  guys if you were paying attention it was clear he was evil AT LEAST from ep 6, probably earlier than that, and we were speculahing that magical girls = witches from ep 3 or 4.

  Ya I didn't have much of a reason to dislike him before. I thought his intentions were pure for awhile.

  Keep in mind, Gen Urobuchi wrote this story. Urobuchi of NITROPLUS. So if you didn't know that, well, you might be less inclined to see this show's true nature.

  I don't think Kyubei is evil at all. What he is doing is no more than how humans treat other species. Each species has different values and what Kyubey is doing isn't necessarily wrong (assuming he is telling the truth). Sacrifcing tiny humans to save the universe seems worth it to me...
  
  Humans sacrifice a lot of animals for research too, for the greater good... How is this any different for Kyubei who views humans nothing more than another expendable species?

  It's not total garbage, just a simplification. Anytime something uses energy, due to the inefficiency of the process, some energy is lost as heat. Heat is basically waste energy, you can't do anything with heat. You can use the transfer of heat to accomplish things, but in a closed system heat eventually evens out and is completely useless. That's still a simplification, but it's less of a simplification than what Kyubey said. If you want to know more, research entropy; read a book about it written by somebody who actually has a degree in physics(unlike me).
