Indeed.
However it's for different reasons. Her reasons are so pure. Will she succeed in defeating the evil Kyubey? God I REALLY REALLY Hate Kyubey now. I'm glad they finally gave us a back story that explains what happens.

Ep10 is by far the best episode. Homura > Madoka as main character. I teared for her, and im a guy.

Oh to add. Throughout the entire episode I was swearing at Kyubey. Everytime it got to Walpurgish Night I would be like God Dammit. Everytime Madoka would turn into a witch or about to turn into one. I would go God Dammit Again.
It's like Repeat....Repeat...Repeat...
Homura was so weak at the beginning but after doing like 3 repeats she's like okay...enough of this bull****...time to get serious. I think she's done like 6 repeat so far? How many more can she do I wonder.

I'd like to talk about Kyubey, now that we know his true motives. If you look at things from his perspective; he's not doing anything wrong. What Kyubey is doing would be roughly equivalent to a human killing ants to save Earth; you wouldn't care if one of the ants destroyed its whole ant hill because of your actions. In the grand scheme of things we're less significant than ants are to Earth. If there was an Earth sized model of the universe, Earth in this model wouldn't even be the size of an ant, much less an ant hill. As far as the universe is concerned, Earth being destroyed wouldn't mean a thing.
Another point is that Kyubey is risking the destruction of Earth to save the universe, humans destroy ant hills simply because they make their lawn look ugly.

Assuming Kyubey is telling the truth. I don't believe he is telling the truth. Because I see him as a manipulative bastard who's using us for his own ends and will lie to get what he wants. He's lied to the characters for most of the show hiding the nature of becoming a Puella Magi and the fact that you would become a Witch in the end >.>

Kyubei never lies. He just doesn't tell the complete picture sometimes. However, I think he was telling the truth about the entropy thing.

Perhaps. However, as humans...we must protect our species. The sadness and damage that Kyubey has caused Homura and Madoka cannot go unpunished. Seeing them so sad is something I cannot stand for!

Kyubey is the enemy, that's a given, but he's not evil. Both Homura (being the only one actively fighting Kyubey) and Kyubey are doing what they believe they must in order to protect what is important to them. It's not a matter of good vs. evil, or of right and wrong. Just my two cents.

True. I still hate that cute little devil through. She may not be evil but she's the antagonist of the story and as thus, she must be defeated >.>

Did any of you get the feeling that, as Homura keeps repeating the past, Madoka's powers keep growing?
Since, in the original future, she was dead before Homura got to her.
Next, she was slowly dying, and then became a witch.
The third time, Homura destroyes Madoka's Soul gem as she requests.
Now, the fourth time, despite Homura keeping Madoka safe, Madoka does contract with Kyubei, and is soon after regarded as "the most powerful Magical Girl, then Witch, ever"
During the first three times, as a Magical Girl, she seems to be nothing near being the most powerful. Yet, in the fourth time, she is just that.
Also, with each repeat, Madoka's personality slowly changes, which could be linked to this changing of power.
I'm also convinced that something is being paid for these repeats, as there's no such thing as free power in this universe they're in.

Ya something has to be paid I suppose for changing time's flow. There's no way you can screw with time without something resulting from it. Something has to be changing.
I like how Homura's personality changed after the 3rd repeat. I disliked her weak personality she had before. I like the badass Homura much better :thumb:

I'm not sure if my body can handle the wait.
