A really stupid question, but is it possible to smith Celtic Royal Knight Sword at rank F? What exactly does rank affect?

Taken from wiki page on blacksmithing, these are the boosts in base stats you can achieve depending on success/ rank of blacksmith. No also you need to be at least r3 to make them but I wouldn't want any less than rank 1 because of the possible increase in stats it could provide.

Snap cast.
How did this happen?
How can I exploit this to get more training on the "cast magic" requirement than the cast snap (since you need to do more magic than snap anyway to rank the stupid thing)?
The only thing that comes to mind is that you could've advanced Snap Cast after activating it but before casting a spell to not waste potential training. This could've happened on your 132th use of rC Snap Cast (132*0.6 + 131*0.16 = 79.2 + 20.96 = 100.16).

How many Gift Rings does Gordon need before he opens his secret shop? I thought it'd be cheaper to use those over Likeability Potions but I'm 300 rings in with no luck.

You're probably not gifting them in the correct way: talk to Gordon each time you give it a ring using the Personal Story and Nearby Rumours keywords. If you get the "He is giving you a look that it will be better to stop this conversation." message when you talk to him stop the conversation, gift him 1 gold coin four times in a row and a ring without talking to him in-between. Then restart the normal procedure (ring + Personal Story and Nearby Rumours. If memory serves, you should unlock the secret shop in about 20-40 rings.
It also helps if you have access to a pet with an inventory to stay in front of Gordon with your character while an alt positioned in front of Nora or Eavan fills the pet's inventory with gift rings: this way you don't need to travel between Emain and Dunbarton each time you run out of gift rings.

Also from what I
heard from your friendly neighborhood dataminer X,
Private Story, Nearby Rumors, and just talking to them is bad.
Quote from X:
- Look up your victim in the data leaked scripts.
- Identify their tastes (contained in GetGiftReaction, I think).
- Scour the itemdb, and the NPC's trash, for clues as to what gifts they'd like.
- Laugh when the females like candles and the males like panties.
- Arrange with a store to have 500 of their favorite item shipped direct to their door.
- BE THERE WHEN THE GIFTS ARRIVE.
- Smile creepily at the NPC, cause they have no idea what's coming.
- Shove gifts down your victim's throat 10 at a time, until they choke.
- After the 10th item, ask them if you can do the nasty/see their shop/get their book/etc.
- If they refuse, KEEP SHOVING until they break like a twig. Really, you want to go all Silence of the Lambs on their ass.
- If they start whining, shove 4 gold into their mouth to block their windpipe. Sadly this only works temporarily.
Alternatively you can just assume the Wiki is correct (it usually is) and use those items.

I didn't know about the thread, but since I've found various guides on NPCs' intimacy and almost all of them contradicted each other I just listed how I opened all the secret shops needed for Composing, Cooking, Meditation, Musical Knowledge and Rest over the last 2 months. By the way, the thread you linked shows that Private Story and Nearby Rumours
do in fact increase intimacy (by increasing Memory), even though they also happen to raise Stress at the same time, which is why you should gift coins to the NPC if he/she gets too stressed.

Too bad we can see the calls to the functions, but not the function definitions, so we can't see the exact math for stuff like coins or loss of things over time to determine if there's a better "pacing".

I'm considering of ranking up Blaze, I calculated how much damage it would do at rank 1 and honestly the damage makes it situational (4000, my firebolt is stronger), unless I can fill up that knockdown gauge (13000).
It's the surrounding enemies that need the knockdown gauge filled, not the target, right? Because I can't seem to trigger it.

Target. Surrounding enemies don't do anything to help.
- Ice Spear target.
- Run to where target would land once Ice Spear finishes.
- Load Blaze.
- Hit enemy with Blaze once Ice Spear completes.
- ???
- Profit.

Well, There's two of them. They're both obviously archery enchants, now the only question is where in seventh hell did they come from? Are they archery renovation enchants or older enchants, and are there other enchants similar to them?

No, they were enchants that were added in with the Alban update.

Archer hall. I don't remember any new enchant being added in alban's release, so might be the case that they're really old enchants that just weren't implemented until now.

Question: what's the general conversion of NX to Gold on the TARLACH server right now? (Damn, it's been way too long since I've played)
