Ahh the week of the month I take so much nyquil that it could kill a horse.
why nyquil?
it makes me pass the **** out

Not to mention I bleed through all my pants one way or another.
meh I don't really have this problem. Mine are very light, which considering I only get them every several months you would expect otherwise.
Example :
Have it in november
have it again in june
I've gone a year+ without it, but after like 9months I started getting very bad cramps for about a week that I would normally have it yet no blood.
weird.

If you're super duper skinny, then it's probably because of your lack of body fat. Gymnasts hardly ever have periods, if at all.

umm.. that's definitely abnormal, does your doctor know about this? women usually go on birth control to regulate their periods. if you're still rly young i guess it isn't that bad but still..

I used to not get cramps at all but ever since entering a more stressful phase of my life it's been regular. qq

You'd think science would have made a pill for this by now. And ridiculously skinny people never get periods. Bulimics, gymnast, and models are the ones who usually don't have them. The body doesn't have enough energy left over to put into making your crotch bleed.

I drink warm tea, because cold weather makes the cramping worse. I also take Midol if the cramps get bad enough. I don't like moving around. I try to stay as still as I can the first few days.
I know some guys like it as an excuse to make it BJ week. sigh.
It's attend to my needs, make me some tea, and bring me what I ask for week.
Duy's not a jerk, though, so I wouldn't really run into this problem. He knows how much I think periods suck.

I get my period irregularly o_o
Sometimes there's three weeks in between, sometimes there's two months.

I'm pretty fortunate as well, rather irregular and light. I blame my time in the military where I've had to run and work out and keep in super good shape. Even now that I am out, I still bike often and so on.
If it hurts I just try to do something like go for a walk. Get my mind off of it more easily that way, and physical activity tends to have an effect of getting your body to behave better.

Uh, yes they do, lol.
I've known someone who's only 95 pounds (she's 16 and 5'6'') and has ridiculously painful periods/cysts, etc. She suffers from CFS and anemia too. So trust me, that isn't true.

well, it's simply because they don't have enough body fat. disharmonizes the hormones, makes for irregular, rare periods or none at all.
and a pill for what? period regulation? pain? if it's regulation, there's birth control for that. we're all different when it comes to our hormones though.

Does anemia have any effect on periods?
I know it's often caused by periods but does it have any other.. effects?

the effects on periods.. you mean like symptoms? it's a disease that can cause everything from severe menstrual bleeding, irregular bleeding or none at all. the heavy bleeding really exacerbates any anemic symptoms because your body already has trouble doing the job with the blood it has.
any other effects on the body encompass anything that can be a result of lack of proper blood oxygenation, like pale skin, dizziness, headaches, cold extremities of the body and general fatigue. I know I get some of these for having a rather low blood pressure.
