Lanns

  I used to bash them. I used to dislike them. I got so bored with Evie I made a Lann and tried him out. He is level 36 and I have to admit it's way harder staying alive as opposed to Scythe's Blink. Haven't had a dull moment with him yet and might make him my main instead of my Evie. I respect Lanns nao:thumb:

  Yeah! I originally started out as Fiona because I didn't like Evie and Fiona was the only girl left, then really liked her hammer attacks and stuff, but after the balance update...well, hammers just aren't that good anymore and I really don't like her sword skills. >_< Then I decided to try Lann and now he's my new main. :o

  I just don't like Lanns and their attitudes thinking that their the best, and etc, the character is fine and all, but yeah the people behind the Lanns are just idiots sometimes.

  Most I seen are Lanns to be honest, there's the occasional Fiona but Evies just shut up and play and don't talk as much, but yeah I'm stereotyping here based on my experiences, darn Lanns. -shakes fist-

  Funnily enough, the only rude people I've encountered are a couple Evies and 1 Lann. It really just depends on who you meet though. I don't judge people by the characters they play anyway, kind of like elves/giants/humans in Mabinogi...they're all the same to me lol.

  I think more it's because of Lann's play style. Majority of gamers like assassin/ninja types and that's what you can consider Lann is. They see the dual-wield, fast movements, light armor and the spinning with spears and that draws many people too him. Of course, it'll draw the douchebags to him as well. That's why I think there seem to be more rude Lann's than anyone else.

  Well said. It's not that good to categorize people based on what type of character they play, what they look like, etc. Hell, there are idiots everywhere. Just take them in stride and ignore them.

  I knocked on Lann before I tried him. Thought that spinning was stupid and that I'd never use twin spears if I made a Lann.
  
  Eventually made a Lann, got him to ~26 building him up as a twin swords Lann, got bored of him.
  
  A week later, decided to dick around with twin spears and when I actually paid attention to the LR and LLLR attack animations I thought, "that it so cool," and got him to 37. I even started spinning a lot, but mostly just in solo games since it's easier to just spin around bosses than it is to LR/LLLR and dodge.
  
  Now that my Fiona and Evie actually have stuff to do, though, Lann is back to being boring. Don't see how people can stand to play him as a "main."

  lann's are easy to start out with, but really hard to master. I give props to anyone who can play him through hard dungeons and stay alive.
  
  on the other hand, fionas and evies are both 'safer' and easier choices in the long run.. they're much more stable. It's really a matter of preference.

  A well controlled sword lann with high rank slip dash is something to respect
  Althought i dont like them i have to say as a sword lann spear lanns both have it somewhat better but harder

  I'm a Sword Lann for life. I consider myself less than average mainly because I have such terrible lag that sometimes when it looks like my bar is at 2-3 or more, I'm actually frozen and can't move. I would be much better if I didn't have all of this lag. I honestly try to not stereotype, but it's very annoying hearing people go, "Can you switch to Spears Yanm"? or "Why is there a sword lann here? Lol, they're so fail". It get's irritating but I'll never stop being a Sword Lann. Besides, I lag MUCH worse when I try spinning with Spears. I have a pair of Dual Reapers (Take THAT Reaper!! Ripped your blasted sword off your hand and made it into a spear >:D) that I mess around with in a Perilous Ruins Daily and I lag like CRAZY spinning. Even if I use LLLR or LR, I much prefer my invincibility frames with Slip Dash and the low stamina cost.
