Transformation:
Transformation is an awesome skill you can obtain upon reaching level 40. You would have to do a quest series regarding "Pact". And towards the end, you will be given an option to kill someone, who constantly mistreat you, or spare him. Whether you wish revenge or mercy, it's entirely up to you. But be ware, killing him means becoming Dark Knight, and sparing means becoming Paladin. (You don't actually kill him, they are just teasing you.)
To use transformation:
Stage One: Does not use any SP bar or ap, can only be used only once per hour.
Stage Two: Takes two SP bar, 10 ap, and requires to be in stage one first.
Base effects from Transformation:
While in transformation, you will attain a class specific trans look, and additional stats to HP, STA (stamina), ATT, and M.ATT .
For First Trans, you will obtain +500 HP, +50 STA, +700 ATT, and +700 M.ATT just from transforming.
(not counting the bonus from your path skills, if you have any)
For Second Trans, you will obtain additional +500 HP, +2300 ATT, and +2300 M.ATT on top of the first transformation bonus.
Dark Knight:
You are true follower of Morighan, keeper of Her flames, and determined to kill. You are willing to sacrifice anything to destroy your enemy, including yourself. Destruction and Hate governs you, and anyone who stands on your way will be slayed.

Facts:
About trans exp:
1. If you only use trans, and do nothing with it till the end, you get 75 exp.
2. If you trans on the boat (the waiting room), it will not give you any trans exp.
3. There's only 4 situation that will make you receive your trans exp:
(A) when the mission boss died, which you will go into screen shot period.
(B) when you're dead.
(C.) when you left the boat.
(D) when you cancel the transformation.
4. You will only receive your trans exp once, and once only; so if you got into screenshot period before trans end, killing more stuff after that won't give you any more exp.
5. Highest trans exp you can get per trans is 100 exp, so trans exp range from 75 exp~100 exp per cast.
6. You can also get trans exp even if you're assisting.
7. Grasp/Steal also counts toward your trans exp, even if it doesn't add to your SP.
8. Killing the boss does not guarantee you 100 trans exp.
9. Approximately 1000 damage done is 1 trans exp, overkill counts as well; dealing more than 25,000 damage will guarantee you max trans exp. (Might sound a lot, but that's about Sturdy Emuloch's full HP in solo mode, or 35 veteran gnolls WITHOUT overkill.)
About trans count:
1. Trans count reset at every hour mark (7pm, 8pm etc), it's not a cool down like mediation. (You can check the time of the server by enabling it in menu>option>etc)
2. On boat, using trans before the host pressed the start button, will not take away your count for the hour.
3. Using trans after the host pressed the start button (during the starting sequence), will take away your count for the hour. (And you won't have a picture of you transforming, it will automatically fix you into pally/dk armor and skip the animation, so don't bother.)
4. If you're in a dungeon, and used trans in that dungeon, you won't be able to use trans again in that particular dungeon, even if the time just hit another hour mark. (if you used trans on boat, as long as you switch something in the quick slot or equips, you can still use trans in the dungeon.)
About Equipment status:
Equips will be broken after transformation period ends.
Weapons and shield will not break after transformation, but will return to the same state before transformation.
Broken equips before trans will not give any DEF after transformation, even though it looks unbroken (if you press alt, then you will see the part is still broken).
Broken shield, however, will be fixed temporary and work normally as unbroken, and will go back to broken status after transformation.
When a Fiona use trans without holding a shield:
She will temporarily gain one while in transformation; but you cannot do counterattack or PG extra effect with it; also, if you do something that will make your shield disappear, such as sitting, your shield will become invisible. You do not gain DEF bonus, and the shield itself seems unbreakable.
Easy way to get 100 trans exp:
Friends?: Little exp, easy mode.
Do Friends? in boat one (hard mode), there's plenty of monsters for you to get enough SP and also 100 trans exp.
*Note: Trash mob, or even bosses, in higher boats don't necessary mean higher HP than veteran gnolls, so when trans in higher boats, make sure you have killed enough.
Hidden solo: Good EXP, takes a bit skill.
Another easy way is to solo hidden, but there's two things to keep in mind.
First, you need to make sure you can gather a full SP gauge (4 sp bars) from the first room. Make sure you know which moves don't give sp at all, and which would give the most. Overkill counts toward SP, so try to make that number as high as possible. You can try to get SP from Giant Spider, but be careful, as you need to do 25k damage while in trans to get 100 trans exp, and Giant Spider in hard mode only have 26k hp.
Second, you need to make sure you can solo hidden in trans. For spears and staff, it's quite easy, just spam hurricane/magic arrow, and you can lead yourself to victory. For others, be sure you use the correct tactic, you can still die in trans.
Regarding DK vs Pally:
It's quite easy to reach ATT cap (10,000 + boss DEF) with just Potential, on the other hand, the DEF bonus always proves to be more useful. Pally wins slightly on this for Evie, and possibly Lann.
Now, for the SP aura and stamina aura. The SP aura recovers sp over time, while Stamina aura gives you 200 stamina. A full SP gauge is 1000 sp, you do the math. DK definitely fares better in this case.
As for the attack spell vs defense spell, I don't any enough data on that. If you know something about it, please share, thank you.
