The 7 Deadly Sins..

  I had a conversation with my Mom the other day about these. To me, they are something good to live by in contrast to the "10 commandments". Why? Because they are also the 7 traits of humanity. While we may not have all 7, there are always at-least 2-3 in each person.
  
  I find that the less you have, the more decent of a person you tend to be. Though it all depends.
  
  Let's take me for example;
  
  - Greed
  - Sloth
  - Wrath
  
  All 3 that come out during my worst moments. During some moments where it seems like there is nothing left but bare emotion. That is how I like to figure out who has what.
  
  i.e. you may envy someone, but unless you really act on it, it doesn't really count. In the case of Envy, I also like to think that it has to be combined with another of the 7 to really count, you know? i.e. you were envious of a girl, so you murdered her; envy + wrath. Or say, you were envious of another woman so you slept with her husband; envy + lust. Get the idea?
  
  What's funny is, some of them can be something integrated in our every day lives, and/or they can also be something that comes out only during our worst/weakest moments, when there is nothing holding us back from pure emotion and instinct.
  
  Blah blah. You get the idea.
  So, what would you guys say yours are?

  Well as for greed, it's fine to want things for yourself. I'd say it's more to do with either you want EVERYTHING or you steal something just to have it. As for me, probably sloth and perhaps wrath.

  I have all 7 sins even though I don't always act on them. If I go to Hell, then yay for me because Heaven and Hell is the same thing to me.
  
  I don't think those traits are as bad as those desert nomads and/or silly Catholic Church put it out to be.

  wrath and most certainly sloth here. happy to say i've never really been an envious person
  also i remember seeing a special about that earlier this month and it stated the 7 deadly sins weren't in the bible. that's actually all i remember from the special though o__o

  Mmm. I think it's also when you take it to the extreme as-well.
  For example, taking something for your benefit and showing no remorse, even if you stole from somebody who is just as poor as you. But iunno. It's just my personal definition.
  
  I can be relentless in /any/ aspect when it comes to myself (or more so, my family).

  I know for sure I don't have Lust. I haven't really experiened that.
  
  Wrath? Oh hell ya, if you mean wrath of words and loud shouting. That's the only Wrath I have.
  Gluttony? Nah. I don't eat a whole lot.
  Envy? I am envious of many people but I usually let them be and don't do drastic actions
  Sloth. Oh hell ya, I'm lazy quite a lot. When I get home there's times where I don't want to do anything.
  Greed. I can be greedy for sure. I tend to be keep it in check though and only take my fair share unless I'm tempted otherwise.
  Pride. Oh hell ya, I have Pride and I really get mad when people injure my pride. I am a bit too boastful and cocky sometimes due to this.
