Ah, excellent this new ignore feature works fantastically! It's as though the whiners never even existed.
I see you're testing it out on the same person I am.

I am indeed. I strongly approve of this new system. With the old system...even if I had a person on ignore I have this oddity where if I see any sort of link I have to click on it. So I would always click open their post....

<: Oh wow thanks.
I was actually going to make a thread about this issue about two months ago but I scrapped the idea and thought it was impossible to buff the ignore function, clearly I was wrong.
Thanks Osay~

Same here.
And I suppose the off chance that they posted something particularly dumb so I could laugh at them silently.

I don't have anyone I dislike or strongly feel the need to ignore, but updates are always nice so thank you.

I can see you. Fufufufu. Your invisibility powers are failing you.
Anywho, blocking a certain person, or a few people, will definitely be good for my sanity.

When a community has to rely on these methods it is clear that something's wrong with it.

It is better than there being a bunch of pointless fights. Nothing is wrong with the community, it's normal for people to dislike others in any given situation. This method is just helping to ensure that there really is no reason for a fight to occur.

It is the work of the moderation team and the administration to deal with those quarrels. I feel that this just segregates the community even more, this isn't solving anything, is just hiding things under the rug.
Just stating my opinion as a somewhat regular user.

Yes it's a part of their job, but they shouldn't have to keep telling the same people repeatedly to stop fighting. If anything, I think this would make it easier to spot who actually just doesn't want to fight due to their ignoring the person, and the people who ignore this function and continue to fight for the hell of it. Why make things harder on the mods and admins? It might be hiding the actual problem between two people, but not everyone can come to a mutual understanding or agreement.
But that's just my thoughts on the matter.

Couldn't agree more with the bolded line, but that's why there's bans and infractions! I feel hey're being too soft =/
