  I'm going to pick Gray Vale for the [S]bonuses[/S] deep background story.
  
  My character a sheltered/naive human cleric who wants to explore the world and help people along the way.
  Since my character, and me ironically, just turned 18 today - I found it to be the perfect age to set off on an adventure.

  Also, no. The reason you can't choose those two is like it says, some of the words in those languages cause uncontrollable magics to occur because they hold power. So a low level adventurer knowing them would be insanely overpowered. xD Imagine a level 1 being able to demolish a city with a single word. ><

  You can learn them starting at level 2, but seeing as only Gods and Angels speak it, it's really not that useful. As a mortal you can't use the powers with it. xD Anyway, to learn it at level 2 you would need to take the Linguist feat AGAIN.. So if you really want it I would suggest taking a different feat now and then taking Linguist when you get to level 2.

  But, what if something was written in the language? I'm not a power-hungry warlord lol. I would just be interested in understanding/writing/reading it, you know that 1% chance it'll be useful and no one but me has it? :p

  Well, like I said. Supernal is only used by angels/gods, and Abyssal is only used by demons, etc. Any item written in either language would be an extremely rare and extremely powerful artifact. Not anything you'd find in a normal adventure, 99.9% of people cant speak either language, because when the gods/demons speak it is auto-translated to whoever is listening's language, so not even priests really bother to learn it.

  I plan having my character come from Luruar, as a part of a successful traveling Elven caravan troupe. They performed every week in the city, and occasionally went on road-trips to neighboring cities to perform there. It wasn't until one fateful day that a tribe of orc warriors attacked the caravan and decimated her family and the caravan. She narrowly escapes only to come back to view the remains of the happiness she once had. Sorrowful and angry, she demanded revenge. Her deceased pets rose as animal spirits listening to her plea, and offered her aid which was how she earned her Shamanic powers. With this, I can make her start in most places as she was traveling to some sort of city already.

  Well, I added up your money and aside from the obvious question of how and the hell your character would carry about 40 cups of ale.. Theres the fact that you went over the 100 gp starting limit. xD With all that other stuff you would only have money for 15 cups of ale, and that would leave you totally broke with 0 money which is generally a terrible idea because we might stop at a town and you might find something you want.. xD

  Anyway, I've narrowed it down to 4 places...but I can't find any of them on the map. The Dalelands, Gray Vale, Luruar and the Windrise Ports. Going to google now :v

  40 of those in your bag? Not only would everything you own be ruined, but they wouldn't fit. You can't just look at the weight and assume you're good to go because they don't weigh anything. xP

  Luruar is a region known as The Silver Marshes. It's in the upper-west part of the world. You should start with me(I don't know how would that work though... Acquaintances from Sylvia's travels?). :D My character's coming from that region.

  Aww. Drat. Gotta do some edits then. Okay, with the slight changes I made. I got rid of the ale and bought wine. I sold the hide armor and got leather.
