  If you mash, no.
  
  Lack of AOE makes dungeoning a bit slower too, but penetration damage is pretty high so its not a huge problem.
  
  Most tank mage of them all, so you're not punished as much for taking an extra hit or two.
  
  For PvP, combos are very strict, but very open too. Timing must be absolute, what comes next is totally your call. But as long as you do it right combo should be infinite (exception to miss, quick rebound, phase shift, and response skill/gear).

  Look at 0:47-0:51. One of the Mage statues also gets immobilized at 0:0-0:06.

  Okay let's change ur build a bit
  Priest patch changes monks a lot, including their mechanics.
  ALSO, you will be so tight on sp that you lower points in less important skills to use new monk skills
  Get 10 in both uppercuts because
  1. tight on sp in future so get used to it
  2. it launches too high with shadow clone
  
  future will driver.
  Crosses give 5% crit rate, Scythes give 3% move speed, Totems give 3% a. spd, Rosaries give 30 str, and Axes give 3% hit rate.
