Everytime I see the how the meat industry in the USA is, I feel like puking. Over here it's more "decent".
About the rabbit. Well fuck, I guess I would have a lost a lot of money, I still obviously believe it's utterly wrong, not to mention as humans we are smarter, we get to reason what's better for us. I'm not like other vegans trying to shove my believes into everyone, but I would definitely like if people at least gathered up the facts about how shitty that shit is for you AND THEN if you want to keep eating meat, well then it's up to you.
I would love it if everyone watched the following video, WARNING, some strong images in there, there are warnings before these appear though.

After that, you can make your own educated decision.
Turning to vegan wasn't that hard either, there's so many yummy recipes that make you forget about meat.
Oh no, I'm not saying we should go around turning rabbits into carnivores. In fact they can't sustain life like that because they still need their veggies, and rabbits are incapable of hunting anyways.
I just wanted to say that herbivores are capable of eating and enjoying meats. We're omnivores where we can choose what to eat, but turns out that is both a bad and a good thing because we need a balance of everything. And of course, carnivores could survive purely off meat substitutes as well.
Anyways, meat isn't really bad for you. It has so many health benefits. Just... stop eating factory produced meat. Most of whats wrong with meat doesn't come from the animal, but the process in which it is made.
You could always go to a butcher or make it yourself though. I'm actually really picky about the brands of meat I buy because I can't stand not knowing exactly where the meat came from. Its why I absolutely hate going to taco bell every month with my friends. I usually don't order anything with meat in it.
And I always thoroughly cook the meat. I kinda do like my beef medium rare but I'll usually do it well done, and make sure at least all of the egg whites are cooked properly.
