Well..at least there's still teamwork? lolol
For some reason this vid just makes me feel like lances need a rework/nerf. I wounder why.
Maybe because these things have high dmg and ways to ignore def/prot to increase their dmg even more to make them the best melee weapon for raw dmg 95% of the time, crushing almost everything in a few hits.
Other than that, that was great teamwork lol
I'd rather talents add 0 stats and just give a boost to skill %s/dmg while using that talent, and a reduced effect while not in that talent. You're not currently focusing on that sort of skill atm, but you sure as hell didn't forget about it. GM titles would just be for showing off really, for all combat stuff at least. As for crafting GM stuff, that'd still give you a further buff.
Master Warrior: (Brackets are the effect while using another talent instead of it)
Defense: +5(2) basic defense. +10(4) defense and +20(8) protection on a successful defense use.
Counter: 75%(20%) more of your dmg is used 100%(45%) more of the enemies dmg is used.
Smash: 80%(25%) more dmg (with any melee weapon besides a lance)
WM: 25%(10%) more dmg (with any melee weapon besides a lance)
And for Knight, which uses many of Warriors skills...
Master Knight:
Smash: 90%(25%) more dmg (when using a lance only. Does not stack with warrior)
WM: 30%(10%) more dmg (when using a lance only. Does not stack with warrior)
I don't have the time atm to go through and do this for every talent/skill but maybe later if I remember.
A new Apostle to fight. A giant lion like beast that spends most of the fight running around a large area. It's headed for Tara (or some other town with a few large maps around it. Idk, should have thought this part of it out more, oh well.), but starts off farther/closer depending on the difficulty. After a while of running around it will make a mad dash for the next map. This raid allows you to use barrier spikes and recommends them. While the beast is running around full speed, it'll simply crush any spikes in it's path without slowing down (still taking a 1 from any reflected dmg)
Upon entering, any squad leaders will be given a marker they can place down. If the Apostle runs through it, it will appear on everyone's mini map no mater how far away from it they are.
You can use the shield to stand in it's path and slow it down/stop it with high enough ranks/enough people.
High ranks of Spikes on Easy and normal mode from a single person is enough to slow it down for a long time after the shield has been used but not stop it/keep it stopped. Hard and very hard require at least 2-3 people.
While slowed or stopped, it's much easier to hit and takes more dmg. Attempting to hit it while it's moving at full speed will always result in a 0 or a miss from ranged attacks.
While slow you won't miss but will deal heavily reduced dmg. While it is stopped you will deal 75%-40% of your normal dmg, depending on the mode, with a well ranked judgment blade filling in the rest of that gap.
There is no solo version of this.
Besides running around and swiping at you with it's paws (10%-45% dmg depending on mode) and roaring at you to knock you down (1%-5% dmg depending on mode), it has a special attack it uses at full speed running where if you're in it's way without the shield up, it will grab you in it's maw for 25%-75% of your hp (depending on the mode) and fling you a good distance away.
Daily mission quests for it include...
Stopping the beast with your shield x number of times.
Slowing it down x number of times with any method.
Being ran over by it.
Being grabbed by it's special rush attack.
Getting knocked on your butt from one of it's roars.
Getting smacked in the face with it's paw.
Taking less than 50% hp dmg.
Hitting it with judgment blade x number of times.
Beating it without using a potion.
Beating it without the help of a pet.
Beating it in general.
Entering the mission with at least half a full party, and then beating it (does not require the same number of people for that last part. It just has to be the same run.)
Entering the mission with a full party, then beating it (does not require a full party for the last part. It just has to be the same run.)
Defeating it before it moves 2 maps total.
