This way there is a reason to be x talent after you've finished it, other than x stat growth that something else might be better for anyway.
I don't really see a point in adding further encouragement for being in your target talent. I'd rather encourage exploration of other talents, trying to explore other skillsets after you complete your own.
As for the idea of GM... I've never liked the restriction of having only one grandmaster talent, because it broke one thing what made Mabinogi special. Like I said, I'd rather see GM being removed entirely, or make it so you can get a GM for all talents.
I'm not sure where I stand on GM talent stats, but I like the idea of there being a GM talent. Most people want to be a jack of all trades but almost everyone has one or two talents they really like and want to be identified as. Even if GM talents was just an icon/title name change, I would still pay 1mil for it.
Just no, this is nearly as bad as the original G13 class system that C4 director tried to throw in at first.
Although I agree that the suggested system is terrible, I don't really see it as comparable to the original Destiny system, I feel like the original Destiny system was worse. The original Destiny system is more like a more lenient version of the Race system, but people hated the original Destiny system because it was so radical, so what does that say about how radical the Race system is?. . .
The original Destiny system was like, oh here is some really enticing cookies, if you promise to not NEVER look at the other girls you can eat some of these cookies.
Giant
2 Strength = 1 melee max
4 Dexterity = 1 archery max
6 Intelligence = 1 magic attack
2.5 Will = 1 knuckle max
Human
2.5 Strength = 1 melee max
2.5 Dexterity = 1 archery max
5 Intelligence = 1 magic attack
3 Will = 1 knuckle max
Elf
4 Strength = 1 melee max
2 Dexterity = 1 archery max
4 Intelligence = 1 magic attack
3.5 Will = 1 knuckle max
Dual stat talents would be the same.
That sounds like really great actually, assuming there was no longer race restricted equipment, skills, or skill multipliers. What about min multipliers?
