Hmm, did that last hit completely whiff? I'm sure they'll sort that out.

I think the Dragons are to big for the last few hits, so the skill just does the first few ones only.

I'm sure it's doable from the right angle, but there's no way that's intended.

Quote from Elleanior;925037:
In the aspect that they're temporarily straying away from the main plot and going to plot relating to exploration... yeah. I'd say it's like Iria.
Like I said before, Morban (+ the surrounding area) reminds me a lot of Bangor and Morva Aisle from Mabinogi. Unless I'm mistaken, in Korean, b/v share the same written character. This is a bit off-topic, but that's more evidence to suggest that Vindictus might possibly take place in Mabinogi's "Another World".

Well it does make alot of sense. Since Albey is already there albeit not like mabi's well furnished with sewers version. That would mean Rocheste is the other world version of dunbarton. And considering Morban is near the ocean like Bangor and Morva isle woudn't it be a high probability that "Baol" will be one of the final areas in season 2? :gloom3:
Quote from AFKalmighty:
The added patch notes read:
Season 2 50-69 , 70-80 monsters have been adjusted:
- increased the health of 50-69 monsters.
- the stunrate of 50-69, and 70-80 monsters have been adjusted.
There were no mentioning about lv70-80 monster health. They haven’t even started addressing the bigger time-wasting bugs.
Quote from astroboy1928:
Just checked the client , they also increase the def, crit, crit resist, attack of 50-69 monster. And check this out..sorted monsters by ATK (Lvl 74-80):
there is lv60,lv40,lv20 data of each season 2 boss in this excel file
the lv61 version ( which probably correspond to lv50-69 version ) already have similiar ATK/DEF values of EP10 boss

What... the f...
That is a lot of attack and defense...
-
RebeccaBlack wrote on 2012-08-04 08:12
That's not a lot of defense at all, actually.
It's a lot of attack, though.
Defensively, they're about on par with or even a bit below current raid bosses.
The current dragons are at 9.6K defense. All of them.

1.6k off, does it make a big difference? O-o

Yes it does. Effective Att is Your Att - Boss Def.
If you have 13k Att. The dragons leave you at 4.4k Att. Meanwhile these will put you at 6k Att.
That's pretty significant percentage wise.
Though getting one shot if you don't play perfectly just seems oh so fun. >>

Those attacks are absurd. Keaghan has an attack of 7805 and these have 12,014....

They buffed HP right?
But from what it looks like, not enough if thats the new average attack.

From AFKalmighty:
I haven’t played much today and didn’t bother to log in at all in day 2 so a lot of this is based on the experience of other people.
- The story battle situation has been resolved now that party members can proceed with the quest as well. But the random drop quest items are still getting on the nerve of many. [Random quest drop from random wisp with random chance to drop a core at all is fun]
- They listened to the complaints enough to the point that season 1 battles seem almost the same as long as you turn off the option for damage numbers. [Season 1 bosses no longer show their hp bar in hard and hero and since they don't have any mechanic that forces jumping you usually don't see it being used at all in season 1 battles]
- Being able to see the damage of other players can lead to some freaky incidents. Like when I turned on the damage number option on out of curiosity in a Keaghan party with 4 staff evies and 2 kai.
- Now imagine this. 4 well geared staff evies spamming magic arrow at high speed which pops up 3 numbers per shot and 2 kais using the emote glitch for quick firing. The numbers literally cover a boss as small as Keaghan and it’s impossible to tell what he’s doing. And I’m not even exaggerating here.
- Lv70-80 battles are still proving to be overwhelming. Some people don’t mind that a minimum 15k group needed 2 graces 3 party graces to clear over half of lv70-80 Tomb of Ships. They do mind that there is a very high chance of DCing, the game crashing, or various other incidents that cause people to lose all their progression [and fatigue]
- 16k seems to be the usual requirement for full runs of lv70-80 battles with random people. But most of the high-end geared people are partying with people they know so the demography of people that are doing full runs of lv70-80 regularly should be higher than that. This, of course is expected to become lower as people get used the the battles.
….. I hope.
- Sword Lann slip dash is seeing a lot of light with a bunch of bosses spamming hard-hitting unblockable attacks. One thing mentioned constantly at this point is lv70-80 Kieru’s tail attack. She summons Lakiora’s tail 3 times from the ground. Most people are able to evade the first 2 hits but the third hit comes almost immediately after the second making it practically impossible for character’s without invulnerability to avoid it. [The tail hits a 10k def Fiona for over 2k so if you get hit by the first strike you might as well pray for a life flare or feather revive]
- On the other hand, this is totally screwing over Hammer Fionas and Pillar Karoks. Hammer at least can forget about DPS and just concentrate on surviving with the help of shield bash. Karok.. well, it’s not like he can use earthquake every 30 seconds or so.
- There was a group that figured out how to ‘park’ the hidden boss of Crescent Island [Treasure Gaurdian]. It was a group of 3 with the Fiona ‘parking’ the boss with a 16k evie and 17k kai spam attacking freely. It took them 17 minutes to down the boss.
- Along with the progression wiping bugs, there are still a bunch of bugs varying from text glitches to gamebreaking ones. It’s going to take a long time for them to get even close to rounding up all of them.
- Boss mechanisms that force players to jump shi- all over Kai since he can’t jump while in shortbow firing mode. But he is [not surprisingly] bawse at sniping down them pesky wasps.
- The way Bosses interact with uneven terrain is being glitched constantly. This can either be good or bad for the players [more often the latter]
- A hard hitting ranged flying boss with a quick and accurate projectile that applies a debuff and has the habit of staying high out of range is not cool. TLDR : glitchy wasp flying AI is glitchy. And if it enrages when it’s owner is slain first.. words can not express the horror.
- The boats in Season 2 still don’t have any mailboxes or vendors. THE PLAYER IS RIGHT NEXT TO ME BUT I CAN’T LEND HIM A PARTY FEATHER!!1!
- One of the Siren bosses that have abysmal defense like the Crab boss has been strangely weak against Reverse Gravity [like 'We've-been-beating-this-bi***-for-20-minutes-and-this-evie-comes-and-one-shots-it-for-95%-of-total-damage' weak] Seeing how this is beneficial to players and yet not changed, people are starting to think that this is an intended mechanic.
- Good news : Several cool boss bashes have been added for Karok. Bad News : It’s impossible to tell if the certain pattern is coming or not even in the slowpoke lv 8-30 mode.
That’s all I can remember for now. I have yet to see a person with a positive opinion about Season 2 in KR :worry:

The director is really trying to kill the game for majority of the players.
