When exactly did this occur...?
Oh, it was a Google Translation Fail I think.
From 30 mana a level to 3-4 mana a level for mages...

-HEADDESK-
What is the point of going to the wizard class if they can;t make their own pots AND have horrible hp for that matter?
I would have been ok with the wizard class if it had the mass amount of mana but frnakly it;s just to good to be true!

*Points to my post*
It's been cleared up that it was a fail in translating and that it's only 3-4 mana a level.
I heard about it from the other G13 Class thread.

Ffffffffffff-
I am confused about this once more.
So, uh, scratch the mana sucking part. Maybe it doesn't actually suck.

wait wait wait 3-4 mana is age up and not leveling up?
Can someone verify this for the sake of the conversation and future of wizards.

I do believe that people are underestimating the power of an endgame wizard here.
I can't understand how someone spamming advanced magic can even get into a situation where windmill is necessary to escape, and I'm not sure how windmill solves the problem anyway. If you're getting multiaggroed by 5 monsters, windmill with a wand still gets you killed.
Anyone who spams adv. magic knows that stuff dies pretty quickly, and it's not exceptionally difficult to control.
It's probably the alchemists that need windmill more.

Again, the mp problem. Mp pots are gonna skyrocket, ha.

Bards too.

Bards fail so badly.

What's wrong with bards? They don't lose any skills they'd be using anyway, they even have windmill. They get a healthy dex increase and access to two new skills.
Wizards are missing 2/3 of their signature spells and with the new int percent damage bonus along with masteries and bolt composer should actually work act rather well. They'll still have to buy potions (or just make them on another char) but even then it's not horribly expensive nowadays and with a real market it'll only get cheaper.
Really, I think they'll be fine. If all else fails the Trinity Staff has a ballin' smash animation, so they've got that going for them.

Doubt it. I don't see how there's going to be any change, if anything Wizards will use less MP pots than they do now, and since people won't be dabbling in low-rank magic without being a Wizard, less people will be using potions in the first place.
Plus, 3-4 MP per level is a LOT. That gets me to around 700 MP instead of 440 MP by the time I reach my usual level cap (without Thunder... other people should be able to reach around 900 MP). Almost double.
The only problem is the damage nerf which has nothing to do with the class system.
