More Mabinogi 2

  Like I said, I'm open to trying it. I just don't think I'll stick around long from the looks of the game currently.
  
  I did try Vindictus despite it's looks but I didn't stick around long due to the combat system and how soloing was way too difficult.
  
  If Mabinogi Arena permits me to solo then I may stick around but I'll have to play it a bit and get to the high level content before I can make that call.
  
  Guild Wars 2 was soloeable save for a few dungeons and finding people for those few dungeons wasn't too difficult so I don't mind if some aspects aren't soloable, as long as finding people to party with is easy.
  
  Finding parties in Vindictus was darn near impossible everytime I tried to get back into it, I ended up quitting due to most people being unwilling to do pubs.

  If it was supposed to be a proper sequel then they wouldn't say they were going to do different things with it. Like the combat and stuff. Also saying the whole bit about not judging it is completely pointless. Just because it was like that for one game or a handful of 'em, doesn't mean it'll be like that for this one. It's just a trailer of what THEY wanted to show to get people's attention.
  
  But yeah, to sum up this entire thread.
  -Watches a short TRAILER of the game that's not even in beta that I know of.
  -Start bitching/defending it like theirs no tomorrow.
  -Look at thread and face palm just like you did back when people bitched about destinies after they were changed from skill locking to freelance.
  
  Eh. Everyone's entitled to an opinion...even when there's nothing to really base it on. Threads like these make the nation look like a bunch of 8 year olds fighting over what to build with their legos.

  Plus they never ever said it was going to be a proper sequel, they've been said it was going to be different here:

  So while I was somewhat surprised, it didn't hit me as hard as some of you people, as they've been told us the game would be taking place in a different game world(It is) and have completely different gameplay (Oh, look it does), and yes, they actually were trying to capture a new demographic, so you kinda did answer your own question there.

  It'll probably be similar to Vindictus, being that your combo'ing ability is based off of single skills used in a certain order, rather than an amount of skills, which is what I like.

  I've seen quite well of their progress with this new Silverrine Engine, and I'm impressed so far. I will be very happy if it's got less loopholes and havoc than the Source Engine. :>

  It's one thing I like about DevCat.
  
  The art style isn't very western either. It's similar to some contemporary korean artists(Blade & Soul?)

  Looks like I need to say it again, this is not a Mabinogi replacement. There'd be no point in it being a Mabinogi replacement because Mabinogi will continue alongside it. This is meant to be a different game. If you're still complaining about these points at this juncture then there's something wrong with your thought processes.

  Spectators can also jump in if the battle starts to get to rough.

  Looks good, but I'm hoping it's closer to Mabi than Vind in terms of leveling where you just grind whatever you like without regard to all these stupid side quests in the way.
