  Personally, I wouldn't believe any claims without any proof. Especially since it would be very easy to take a screencap of the ticket involved. If you did take advantage of Pake, or glitches such as the title glitch, or the character save glitch, traded items for NX, or other things such as that, and had the chance to blame your ban on "posting mined data on the wiki" to get sympathy, who wouldn't do that? I'm not saying that the person you're talking about is necessarily guilty of that, but I am saying you should take claims like that with a grain of salt. It's easy for people to lie about things like that.

  The best fan site was hands-down Mabinogi World (it's hard to deny that fact). The reason they basically dropped them is if you read their discussions on the Wiki, they've been posting sensitive information. String values of items and attributes that can be changed with modifications and hacks. Nexon asked them to stop, and they're still at it (see data templates of the Demonic Weapons). If Nexon really wanted to, they could of just shut them down entirely. But as you said, most people are sick of how that site and their wiki is being run and the other wikis are no where caught up. (I believe Mabinoger's is the closest to being "up to date"? Correct me if I am wrong since I looked at "Mabinoger", "Mabiwiki", and "Mabinogi.Wikia" and a few others).

  
  
  If you've ever been to Mabinogi World, you would know they are very inactive. The main point of their site is the wiki.

  What is your problem with Nexon anyways?
  As far as I know:
  -They added a whole section of unreleased content to the ftp files, thinking players would be kind enough not to look into them.
  -Players did and posted the information on the Nexon forums. They warned all players that posting data-mined information on forums leads to a forum ban and that they frown upon data-mining in general.
  -Players literally said Fuck You Nexon and kept posting Data-Mined information but on fansites.
  -Nexon posts that they are not supporting fansites that supports players that hack their game.
  
  So far Nexon seems totally in the right, though I know very little about what happens behind the scenes. So if I'm missing something please enlighten me.

  Lol. Data mining is looking for info not yet given out to the public. The info in the game packets that YOU download contain this information, what, are you saying you can't talk about information that's already been given to you?

  Oh, I don't know, hmm. Maybe when Nexon clearly stated that (Vindictus, but still Nexon) Lann was going to get a "revamp" by the end of the year (last year) but the revamp came mid October of this year. Season 2 was hinted to come out last year too.
  
  Nexon talked about this entire class revamp at E3, or around E3, of last year.
  
  Anyway, that's one. You can find plenty more if you played their games.

  Some poor souls will never learn from Nexon. Look at MapleStory. They have all this unreleased content coming out and these kids are always talking about them, Nexon won't ban their rich players. Mabinogi has less of these payers.

  I've thrown enough money at them in the past that I feel pretty safe, at least for the moment. Of course, once you stop throwing money at them.. All of a sudden they notice that you just happen to be breaking several very important rules.
