I think it was more that Gliding/Lightning Fury was too risky to use.
I still think G/LF should go right through enemies...

You know, I kept thinking that too. But then, I considered Furious 7. It would make that SP move MUCH LESS useful.
I still think Lann's Gust Sting and Fiona's Rose Thorns should have Commander Kakrish's range, at least when fully charged.

I get the feeling Evie might get a new spell or two in part 2...
Staff Evie has been long overdue for new spells and this seems like the perfect chance to add some.

Yeah I agree, but the more pressing matters are being addressed right now which is great. Because let's face it, Fiona really needed them buffs.
But if they add some more lovely Staff Evie spells, I wouldn't mind, maybe more supportive spells other than Corona.

True that staff has been balanced for quite some time now, but with the recent buff to scythe, it seems that scythe has taken up the mantle of being the superior weapon choice for Evie. I agree that it isn't much of a pressing matter as of now, so that's why I suggest it might happen in part 2.
Plus I'm really looking forward to some lightning skills... finally.

When was F7 ever useful? 4 SP just for some invulnerability, crap damage, crap range, and the inability to force knockdown makes it completely worthless.

Corona needs to have the cap raised, as 1k healing just isn't that much. Erg needs a massive buff to, as it takes less time to drink a potion and the potion heals more and doesn't require props that don't exist in most raids.

Hahaha, you've caught on to my point, though you forgot to mention the added cooldown time, which makes it even worse than worthless. :3 But hey, if that translation is what I think, force knockdown is now a guaranteed with Furious 7.

It says it causes force flinching, not force knockdown. That's good, but its still not good enough.

Does it mean force flinching for every hit? That's almost as good as knock down.

Says the first hit, though we'll have to wait when its actually being tested.

Hopefully they buff up Gliding/Lightning fury to be lann's top dps moves again. More emphasis on crit and back that up with a crit oriented move. They wouldn't have to bother give lann's higher crit chances if they just give weapons that crits in the first place instead of giving Kai's 59 crit weapons. It's pretty sad when a crit class get heavily outcritted by non crit classes.
I wonder how they are going to tackle thousands needles. That move is pretty worthless atm and too slow. They would have to increase Sword Lann's attack speed to make it more viable.

About Thousand Needles, they say they will add a separate skill to where each stab will increase critical probability. They should let us manually aim and rotate Thousand Needles again...
Damnit, just let us use Lightning Fury continuously after every Lightning Fury criticals.

I want a free Lightning fury after gliding fury instead of it requiring a crit on a glide. The Sword Lann changes are a huge disappointment so far other then double crescent delay changes.

Sorry... Vella took away that possibility from us.
