  Fiona damage multipliers. HS Counter does more than Amaranth, which I may have mentioned at some point. So HS Counter spam master race.

  There's some talk about both weapon types in there. Just know both Lanns got buffed, significantly even.

  Quick version is that each spell now is either Fire, Ice, or Lightning (like a certain other game that has a section on this site cough cough), and they're positioned accordingly. You also seem to be able to "store" a spell for use later, and you can store up to 3 spells.
  
  Blind Arrow has been changed to lightning and updated to look the part. Left is fire, right is lightning, down is ice.
  
  They're going to need to seriously change the cooldowns though, if they haven't already.

  S2E2 extra weapons (for some classes) and armor look pretty superior to the other 80 sets though. I've already spent enough time digging up data though, so I'm being lazy at this point. The armor is called Noblesse though, if you want to look it up yourself. I think all 80 weapons and stuff got buffed though, like Fiona's Peacock/Heremon longswords both got Att buffs, Hammers got a stupidly minor Bal buff, and so on.

  Probably the best way to do it as Kai is so broken as is. Before anyone starts complaining that these are just buffs, Kai is only broken due to glitching right now giving him insane DPS and SP gain, meaning spamming EEA off cooldown is completely viable. If they actually do fix all the glitches, he'll need these changes to stay competitive.

  As i see now Kai's are the Basic Power Horse in Vindictus. A Well Gear'ed Lann wouldn't be able to come close to the Kai's Damages even against a Boss.
  Though i play Both Characters. I Feel like Lann needs more of a Significant Boost to speed up to the Rest of the Classes or it will be left in the dust.
  Spear Lann's Smashs are Rankable. That's a buff but not important enough as Agility doesn't affect our Smash's anymore.
  Gotta keep that hope up. :bow:

  Kai is pretty stupidly strong, but Lanns are definitely not underpowered. A well-geared Lann will do plenty of damage provided that he/she knows how to play.

  There's a reason why all the speed-runs almost always have a crew of Moonsplitting Spear Lanns. In ideal conditions, few can hope to match the DPS of a spear Lann, and a reasonably skilled sword Lann is all but invincible. Lann has the greatest potential in the game, but also has the highest learning curve; it's quite difficult to have a perfect Lann.
  
  That being said, the other classes have an exceptionally easier time exploiting or even creating their own openings on the boss, allowing them to deal damage far more consistently than a Lann. Kai in particular, has a absurdly easy time just strafing all the bosses' attacks at a distance, while boasting high damage as well.
  
  I don't care though, all I want from Lann right now is more variety. Without a doubt, Moonsplitter/3960 Hurricane will remain the top choice for all-out damage, but I want to have fun when I mow down the trash mobs. Adding additional attacks for the new smashes at R9 would be the easiest choice, though I see no indication of Nexon doing that, which disheartens me.

A man of two swords would have better focus in overwhelming a single or probably a few enemies at a time, not so much for mobs. I don't understand how they let him perform moves that are actually very impractical, yet work "so well" for mobs of enemies. They actually made him perform such wrong moves, that it makes him that much weaker against single enemies. It's actually supposed to be harder to maneuver evasively with separate weapons on each hand.
  
  With those said, seeing the latest changes, I see that they're kinda sorta heading into the right direction. For Lann in general to focus more on critical, I'm hoping that would prove more sensible. Build on critical, then release at the right moment on an enemy. Yes, that sounds more legitimate.
  
  Now, I'm wondering about these new spells for Evie. I can see that she still has her original revamp spells. Would these newer ones prove functional, or are they just useless gimmicks? There better be a hefty limitation, but also a great reward, to these spells. Currently, it looks as if the spells can just be spammed freely, given the Evie remains away from danger's stray. Is there even a need to choose which spells are right to use in the spur of the moment? Probably not. Just look like more damage attacks.
  
  I'm not so experienced with Kai, so I don't have much input on that character.

  But what about the people who enjoy the challenge of Lann? Personally, I've stuck Lann mainly because he's the hardest to use and gives me the most fun. Maybe his animations could be sped up slightly, but that's really just nitpicking.
  
  I also don't see the need to change Spear Lann. What would be the point of making him have slower attacks, if Lann revolves around mobility? Additionally, if we're talking concepts then clearly we should change Amaranth Kick, since a woman with usually slim legs can apparently throw out a donkey kick with Chun-Li's power. Or how Vella can chain a huge boss in place with her Dual Blade.

  I think what they wanna do with evei is give ennemies elemental weakness and strengh. This way evies can choose the kind of spell they wanna use based on element.

  Spear Lanns definitely needs some touch-ups. He doesn't have a lot to work with (heck he even doesn't have Raging Fever) and its not fun to keep relying on just two Spear-exclusive skills (one smash enhancement and one buff) while Swords have seven exclusive skills (two smash enhancements, two extra skills, two dodge enhancements, and one SP). Also, Spear's survivability is extremely crappy, while Evies and Vellas who are almost or equally as powerful as Spears can just live through almost anything.
  
  What I would like to see is Spears getting better survivability, their own SP 250 ability, and something better than spin2win.
