Zooming out and actually being able to see ruins the game? Skipping transformation cutscenes Nexon NA forces people to see while ur getting hammered by peaca monsters ruins the game? And taking away laggy font ruins the game?

Did you read what i said in the beginning? I said that the mods that deal with zooming in and out are fine.

Mods are mods.
There's a thin line between what is "fine" and "not fine".

I like my mods, they help me a lot in lag reduction, and zoom is almost a necessity for me now. For those graphic mods, I usually can't stand having them for more than a week. Oh, and modifying my minimap is nice too.

In a sense, yes. Because it wasn't originally apart of the game and it probably never will be, just because it's Nexon NA. But even so, I support mods. Gotta fix Nexon's screwups. >>; Plus, mods, which -aren't- the same as PE/haxing, are pretty beneficial. Less lag and not dying is nice.

DON'T THINK I'M A BAD PERSON ;A; I'm really not.
But I was at the fashion show and I noticed how someone modded their clothes and I just thought it was kinda unfair.

Wait how did you see someone who modded their clothes? o.o
As I said, graphical mods are client based, not server based...

How do you even know this? Client side mods are only seen by that person, so how do they bother you?

If I say "...this mod is okay... but this one isn't..." Then I'd be a hypocrite to myself. I'm against Mods, no exception, no matter how "harmless" or "useful" they may be.
That's where reasoning comes in. You can be against one mod for one reason that some other mod doesn't run afoul of.
Quote from abc33kr;118621:
How exactly does mods have anything to do with hard working? No relation at all.
Research about a topic before making a thread/argument about it.
I think you are getting mods mixed up with hacks/PE. Those are the things that lets people cheat and get things without working hard.
However, mods are only beneficial to people. Zoom/Skip trans cutscene/text mod. Those are examples of mods fixing areas that nexon has been lazy to. All other servers have those features that mods give. Even Europe mabi, which is supposed to be behind us, have trans cutscene skip.
Thus, NA mabi need mods to fix areas that nexon fail at.
I would've thought you'd have known better .-.
There are far more malicious mods out there, some of which border on game-breaking. Thankfully many others of the sort have been patched. Somewhere in the middle are the mods that allow for certain limiting factors in the game to be bypassed such as the infamous Dorren's mod.
Quote from Kazuni;118643:
I don't see what you would see is wrong with mods.
It doesn't actually affect you in any way.
It's like saying, "How come her mom gets her an iPod and my mom doesn't get me one?"
Except you're perfectly capable of asking your mom for one. Though you'd probably want to earn it somehow.
Something like that.
If you stay away from pvp, are not trying for royal alchemist, do not sell anything of any sort and never try to buy an item from another player then yes...it doesn't affect you in any way.
To be fair, the effect on most people is miniscule. Others feel it pretty hard. It's not really your call to decide unless you know the intricacies of their mabinogi dealings.

I'm perfectly fine with graphical mods, and the ones that fix mistakes in game. The only bad thing to worry about is hacks and packet editors.

I'm a supporter of mods/macros. PE is bull and true hacks for mabinogi don't exist.

What this man says is true. PE is complete crap. There are no true hacks for Mabi. Mods are all part of the client files anyway, people just change stuff around.

You can NOT see a client sided mod such as their clothing. It's impossible unless YOU YOURSELF mod. This is a message from a professional "modder"[/SIZE]

Oh, then it must have been an existing piece of clothing. I've never seem it before though. It looked like a joker robe.
Was the red bolding necessary? I feel like you're yelling at me .___.

Most mods I'm fine with(and use), and same with macros. Mods are mostly just for pleasing the user anyway, be it modding a newbie wear into an elegant gothic, or the no underwear mod(lol..).
PE and gamebreakers=</3 though o-o
