I see, I wonder if they were making assumptions with lower int values? Was trying to hunt down the magic coefficients. So far from what was tested though, Blaze + IS made a massive come back. 21k non crit on a Blaze after IS?
I already determined that the break even point between both formulas was 500 int. The new damage formula gains higher damage at higher int levels.
My post should be somewhere back aways....
AND BLAZE DOES 21k NON-CRIT? HOLY SH*T!!!! That's too high O.o;;; Even for Blaze geez.

I see, so similar story to G13 where magic was worse at lower int levels but better at higher int levels. Seems to be a common theme with these magic reworks.

Yea...seems that way. More and more I get the feeling that magic is a vile experiment of DevCat's....
Anyways, does anyone know how magic weapon bonuses will change, and the bonuses from magic attack enchants will change?

This turns me off, needs adjustments.
As a squishy Water alchemist, I do need my mana shield.

Looks like spell books are now desirable for Alchemy.
Those instruments and future changes for Bard...me gusta.
Do want to see the new skills for Mages.

The funny part is that people expected a quality magic and alchemy revamp! :v

I expect exactly nothing from Nexon, personally. I don't even have a definite opinion on the update yet. Just seems like it could be promising.

They should have at least removed the 20% nerf from g13 to make any noticeable difference.

Wait...so every 10 strength gives 1 defense?
Doesn't look like I'll ever have to make another mana potion, because I'll only be taking 1s to my HP now.

I don't see how. Even at 700 STR, that's only 70 defense. A significant cushion when things are hitting for 100-400 non-crit, yes, but still... "1s to my HP" is a bit of a stretch.

There may be a new alchemy skill. Not totally certain, though.

Wow, pretty.
Physis' house changes and the paths between buildings seems to catch my eye the easiest.
And for Filia it's the Memory Tower being replaced with that other thing that seems the most different, to me.
