if theres no negative side when using light armor, then cloth has no more use beside bohemian and flame rider...
everyone with ancient darkness wins ):
but its kinda nice for those who wanted to use smash enhancement or other set-effects with heavy armor.

Isn't it mainly hurting the use of weapons with low balance? Because balance gained from dex is capped at 50, but the weapons balance should make it go higher, and with Masteres it shouldn't be that hard to get 80 balance again...
This does make it seem like beam swords are getting nerfed, along with the Sword of Elsinore.

I totally agree with you on the fact that clothing is jipped here. They should get a mastery too. Maybe it increases dex by a %? ;D I'd totally give up def/prot for that, even if the mastery decreases it ehehe

Balance isn't getting nerfed, it'll still probably be 4 dex for each 1 balance, it'll just be capped at 50% so that even if you had like 9 billion dex, you'd still have only 50% balance from it.
Other skills such as combat mastery add 15% dex, weapon mastery skills also add 15% dex.
So overall you'd still be getting 80% dex.

Basically anything that's any good to use is getting nerfed. Champ knuckles, lances, et al.

You should get extra dex if your character is naked. After all, wearing clothing is unnecessary weight. Am I doing it right?

I remember when the combat revamp was announced and more than half the players freaked out (including me)
It sounded like a terrible idea but in the end it turned out fine. I'm sure some things will get worked out in test.
Worst comes to worst I'll just go outside. xD

Except killing hybridding and murking close combat skills is not a good idea.
