The answer then is to nerf Reforges not the skills or weapons. Nerf the reforges and the content becomes more challenging but it better have GOOD rewards for it.
Agreed. Better yet, get rid of reforges altogether.
I mean you're kind of contradicting yourself here. On one hand you seem to want everyone to have to play more strategically. But on the other hand you want to be able to mindlessly tank damage while a healer plays your personal heal/buff slave. If you really dislike the combat in Mabinogi that much then maybe you should just go play another game that already has tanks and heal/buff slaves.
That's a contradiction too. Mabinogi's just mindless killing now. Five top-tier players can go in and spam windmill without much trouble. There's no skill involved, no strategy, it's just a chaotic mess of people spamming their best attacks. With other games (the ones that're actually well made) you had to plan based on what an enemy was going to do. Tanks had to make sure to keep the enemy's attention and enduring their hits, a healer had to make sure who to heal at what time depending on priority, and DPS had to make sure to prioritize enemies based on their threat- sometimes the boss wasn't always the problem, maybe the minions that spawned are the problem. Yes, the game was never made with that in mind, but these most recent updates make me wonder if Devcat's trying to change that. Why else would they add armor and shield masteries if tanking didn't matter and you weren't suppose to get hit anyway?
Why would anyone rush to end-game? to get bored of the game faster?
I do aggre that we need more content, but more so end-game content so vets don't get bored and leave.
People rush through content to get to end game, then say there isn't anything to do. 5k NX says day 2 of the gunner update there will be people whining not enough content is released because they already mastered that talent.
