Anyways here's a quick recap that I'm going to put into visual form in a few. If you guys have any corrections, I implore you to let me know now so I that I can correct it before I make the video and put up wrong info.

Magic Update Talking Notes
Formula change
5int = 1 magic attack, magic damage formula has changed as well as changes to protection and defense to be split into magic defense and magic protection.
These changes as well as changes to the spell coefficients has made the magic attack change to not do much and in the case of Ice Spear seems to nerf it
due to magic attack not applying past the 1st charge
Meteor Strike (cooldown 30min)
Can possibly deal 49k crit on mobs with 0 def at r1 with 1k int, s5 staff upgrade and magic damage upgrade and r1 fire mastery, magic mastery, and
r9 weapon mastery
r9 Base damage is 1400-2000 with 380 fire damage every second for 10 seconds (3.8k fire damage)
r1 Base damage is 4200~6000 with 1200 fire damage every second for 10 seconds (12k fire damage)
Mainly use it for Martial Arts Final (Seems like it would destroy Team Boss in less than a minute without super reforges)
Use it for Field Bosses or mission bosses. It takes 10seconds to get the target to be able to be placed on where you want the Meteor
to land and then another 5 seconds for it to actually land
Not very practical for everyday use and most people would say that it's practically useless in comparison to the other OP reforges + skills
Mobile Casting
r9 50% run speed
r1 100% run speed
Can run while casting int magic and when int magic is charged up. Drains stamina while active. There's currently a possible bug with ice spear
where you can run when you have it cast while mobile casting is not active. Does not apply to Hailstorm or Meteor Storm and possibly not Shockwave?
Instant Casting
r9 cooldown 4 min 30 seconds (7sec duration)
r1 Cooldown 3 minutes (12sec duration)
Instantly charges 5 charges of all magic spells except for hailstorm and meteor storm. Unsure on shockwave at this time as I don't have it. Once you cast
the spell it cancels so you can only do an instant fireball every 3 minutes
Magic Weapon Mastery
r9 70% bolt magic damage 7% int magic casting speed reduction
r1 150% bolt magic damage 15% int magic casting speed reduction
Overall the most useful skills from this update for mages will be mobile casting and magic weapon mastery in terms of increased versatility if you can
handle the stamina drain. It'll make it easy to continue running with your party members while charging fireball so that you'll be ready when you enter the room.
It'll also help create some interesting new combos I would imagine.
Instant Casting isn't too terribly useful but not bad either as it'll allow for a quick instant fireball every 3 minutes which you can use to skip a room with
or to follow up after Meteor Storm. Meteor Storm will only be used for boss fights or Martial Arts and it's CD and casting time doesn't make it appealing
to most players. As with most things from KR test, this reflects conditions at this time on the KR Test server and is subject to change in the future with or without notice.

That's it, DevCat lost it. What's the point of changing the int formula for something worse, giving us a butchered chain-cast skill, if it's even that, making magic far less appealing than it is with more ap intensive skill, a useless skill, and a boss- only skill?
Might as well free up Drive space by getting rid of the Magic talent all together, since it's got the most skills, the most complex formulas, the least population, and DevCat just doesn't get it right!!!....What's the point in all of this? This is absolutely ridiculous. 10 f*cking years tinkering with magic, only to make it a miserably useless talent.

*calm* Ok...yea, no regrets here. I've enjoyed my time as a mage in mabinogi. I will always be a mage at heart.
But this...?
*Sigh* Not liking this at all...Making magic a flashy show-off talent...that's what its come down to...
